I just pulled the trigger I ordered my black satin Provari blue led extended end cap & charger, 2 18650 batteries, Cartos boge 5 pack bundle from surevapes & last but not least aliceinvapeland samplers. Anything else missing?

You' should consider a tank (Ibtanked/Phillic)
You'll also need a carto puncher (unless you want to do do it yourself, its not too hard) and a drip tip. I like the ceramic ones myself.
juice, juice is tough. I had a tough time finding that perfect vendor and mix I DIY my own. The only suggestion I can give is to try samples from various places... and don't be afraid to try new flavors. Those tastebuds of yours have been contending with smoke for so long they want a challenge!

Good Luck!

If you can afford it then buy it. I started on generic ego's and moved up to a Lavatube. Had the fortune to spot a ProVari on Ebay and bought it (just before Ebay pulled the listing). Best buy ever. I have dropped it on to concrete (hole in coat pocket) and apart from a small scrape of paint it still works a treat. Recently bought a vv Gripper for half the cost of the ProVari and was decidedly unimpressed. If i dropped the Gripper i would end up with a dozen bits of plastic and an unusable mod !

I totally forgot about the drip tip last night I'm on the hunt for the right one as I'm typing this post. Not sure to either go pyrex or stainless? I haven't seen much threads about ceramic, I will have to Google it and check them out. Thank you all for the great posts I think this thread could be for all newbies that want to start out with a provari.

I will diffidently be taking my Provari out on the road with me since I drive tractor trailers locally. I unload 26,000-30,000 pounds daily so a 4 gram provari isn't going to be much of a deal to hold lol.

Hi p&p

I'm relatively new myself, and placed virtually the same order you did (except my provari is white/blue led)

I love it and I believe you go big or go home : )

My only recommendation is to get another more portable setup for when you are out and about. The provari is heavy (well built) it's cool for the car but not so much in your pocket.

Personally, I got a couple is e-go twists that I can easily carry in my pocket when the provari isn't practical.

Hello.
I take the liberty to recommend this to Joyetech battery Twist of variable voltage.
Genuine JoyeTech eGo Twist, 1000 mAh Battery
Surely you will not regret

I'm sorry puff, go Pyrex or Polypropylene the tank, ceramic for the driptip. Driptips come in acrylic, ceramic, stainless, etc. Its all choice but I found the ceramic the best. Get a few for backup.

Oh and first rule of vaping, get backups for your backups. Usually that means keep your first garbage cig-a-like just in case something happens to your main. But since you dont have a garbage cig-a-like, either get another provari or something similar down the road (soonish) as your just-in-case.

Does anyone know if you can use prefilled cartridges that fit on a regular 510--the ones that look like analogs or the Vapor 4 life dial a volt?

The V4L Dial-A-Volt is KR808D threaded - you will need an adapter to attach 808-threaded cartomizers to a Provari. I recommend a shorty 510 to 808 adapter (particularly if you're using an 808-threaded cartomizer tank).

I have a lot of V4L gear, now to be used for backups if I need them. Rather than put money into the Dial-A-Volt, I got a Provari instead. Aside from pen-style batteries that I like to use from time to time, my primary gear is all 510-threaded. FWIW, I don't use regular cartomizers on my Provari - just cartomizer tanks and atomizers.

I agree. I tried packing the regular size Provari with ext. caps around everywhere for 2-3 months, but as you said, it's rather heavy and sometimes not a pocketable device.

Ideally I would have preferred getting a Mini Provari, but I couldn't rationalize another $230 at the time. I began looking for a small, light, variable voltage device for out-and-about that was much more affordable.

I ended up purchasing a Smoktech VV Gripper, a box mod. I liked just about everything about it except for its cheap construction. I had owned it only 7 weeks and the 3 front panel control buttons fell inside the mod. Still within warranty, I'm expecting its replacement soon.

Since I liked the Gripper's form factor so much, I got a Segelei/Ovale V8 gripper mod which is much better constructed, works great, and is the same size as the Gripper. Nice mod for part time use, out-and-about, or as a backup device. Both the Gripper and V8 are in the $30 range, so if something happens to it you aren't out a lot of money.
