I want to use E-Cigs, but afraid of parents finding out I smoke by having packages delivered to my house?

Hi,
I have been a smoker for three years. I currently go to college away from home, and so I ordered an E-cig now because I get it delivered to my mail box here. BUT when I go home for the summer, and I need refills, E liquid, batteries, etc...I will have to get it all delivered to my parents house. Which I'm afraid of. They don't know I smoke (I've hid it for 3 years, haha. lots of perfume, gum, showering. you know.) Anyway, is there a solution?? I want to quit because my health but I don't want my parents to find out I ever smoked!
Suggestions?

My other thought is is it possible to have packages delivered to me without seeing that its coming from "E-CIGARETTE (for example)" I just don't want the word cigarette or anything to do with that association to be written/stamped/colored on the package!

I don't think any of my packages have been particularly obvious, a couple may have had a label placed on the box... but I'd be willing to bet that if you were to contact just about any of the vendors that I've interacted with so far, that they would be more than willing to ship discretely.

That's what's so great about the ecig world - all of these mom and pop vendors are the best!

Hmm... I feel your pain. I was a closet smoker too. I'm 40 and my parents thought I quit years and years ago. How ironic that it's easier to sneak real cigarettes than e-cigs in some ways.

You could try to stock up ahead of time. That's tough if you are a poor college student.

You could have tour stuff delivered to a PO box or a friends house.

Good luck!

PureSmoker packages are labeled "Pure Enterprises" and there's nothing on the label or box related to e-cigs, smoking or vaping.

Their cartos are a priced nicely at $1.49 each. Depending on your e-liquid preferences, PureSmoker could become a one-stop shop for you.

As I recall, e-liquids from Ms. T's Bakery simply have her name and address. It would look like a package from a friend.

ETA:
My local Post Office requires 6 month minimum payment up front and run about $12 per month. I believe the neighborhood UPS/FedEx stores wanted a full year in advance.

I'll have to concur with the be honest policy. You're entering adulthood, and it's time to be one. IMO part of that is justifying your actions rather than hiding them. In the real world hiding something eventually becomes a scandal.

No ones parents ever agree with everything their child does. Generally they just want to see the best attempt at things.

It's very simple; "I was smoking, sorry to say, and I've decided that was a very stupid thing to start, and here's how I'm changing that"..

Obviously up to you, but life is a lot easier when you aren't having to keep up facades. To much interesting stuff in front of you to worry about something like this.

Probably doesn't mean much now, so bookmark it ;). In ten years, telling your parents you smoked, and quit, will not be on your list of "Stuff I had to worry about".

Best,

-Z
