We tend to think "well I didn't quit smoking, I just switched to vaping."
NO YOU DIDN'T. You took out 4000 chemicals from your body. Particularly those of you who have been smoking a long time, these things don't go away overnight. Ever seen the breakdown of the days, weeks, months, years, that your body goes through once you quit smoking? Removing smoking from your life starts the process of healing. Weird things can happen. Have you ever quit before? For ANY length of time? Have you noticed the changes your body goes through?
I just think people get so hyped on vaping causing all these problems and FAIL to remember that smoking was a process DESTROYING your lungs, suppressing your immune system. When you take this out of the equation, your body has to go through an equal and LENGTHY process of healing. NO ONE heals from trauma (physical and emotional
) in a day, a week, a month, or even a year.
GIVE IT SOME TIME.
Please note that I am obviously not referring to what is CLEARLY life-threatening. Aggravations, coughs, headaches, sleep disturbance, these are ALL NORMAL for a period of time - and that period of time is different for EVERY PERSON.
