I wonder if I am the only one out here that wants the best hands free solution they can find in their arsenal?

Hmmmm,

Maybe if enough of us talk about this a variety of solutions might come to exist for those that want to vape while driving a forklift or crane, climbing a mountain, riding a bike motorized or pedal powered, chopping wood, using a shovel, harvesting from the garden, detasseling corn, or anything else needing two hands.

I have to scoot but am anxious to be part of this. I know I can handle the weight of a manual 510 with atty and drip tip, but I have to add the rubber mouthpiece for my teeth. "Pretty" drip tips still show through enough for me.

Great thread. See ya later!

At those times, I tend to use a "mega" auto with either an LR carto or a Vivi Nano. You can also get flat drip tips to put in the carto, which may be more comfortable to bite on.

I tried some soft rubber drip tips, but they don't seem to stay in well with that weight. If you're holding it it's ok, but that's not the purpose!

doesn't the drip tip get the weight too far away from you make it harder to hold with your teeth?

I know this will not be ideal for others and do not know if it will work for me but I have been thinking about two products.

One is the SD Keyring Maxi with a 45ml long cartomizer if I can find one that is plastic.

The other I am thinking about is the Smileomizer with the smallest Auto Dial-A-Volt option. I don't know if this is too big and heavy for hands free use. I am not sure how I would get along with that large of a tip.

What is a Smileomizer?

Cigar Sized, this is with a 650mah auto battery.

I just down know if with the thickness one can clamp down hard enough with teeth to hold it while being physically active.

I haven't read the whole thread, so maybe this has already been mentioned. When I saw the question/dilemma the first thing that popped in my head was one of those metal gizmos that musicians use to attach a harmonica to so they can play guitar and play the mourth harp at the same time.

Just modify one of those, right? Or invent one especially made for PVs. Adjustable, so it'd accomodate most popular types of PVs and APVs. Could make a fortune, maybe!

Oh, I might have some parts and pieces to try this. I'll post back with my thoughts when I do.

On the "biter's" tip, I read the same thing, and I don't want to lose a battery in a hole I've been digging. Something about the way I hold my teeth makes a plastic tip look like a beaver has been chewing all the way around a tree. LOL My solution is the condom-type rubber mouthpiece covers, around $2 for 5pc. Using a pawn-shaped metal drip tip condomized allows me to bite and hold a heavy setup in comfort.

I need to figure out my camera ... :)
