This how I've been arranging the wicks on the iAtty lately:
(please excuse the bad quality pictures)
It is a simple single coil build with two strands of 1.5mm wick (maybe 2mm wick could work better), I used to cut the ends of one of wicks at the top of the ceramic channels in order to have doubled wick at top, and the other wick going down through the delrin channels.
As you can see, now I do not cut the "extra" wick: I wrap the ends of the lower wick around the ceramic cup, while the upper wick goes down through the channels, keeping the other wick in place at the same time.
(The idea is that the wick around the ceramic should cover the little gaps on the delrin channels.)
This helps to prevent flooding in case of overfilling the tank and helps to maintain the coil moisturized.
Of course, you could accommodate both strands through the delrin channels, but what I have experimented is that if there is much wick stuck in, it affects the flow of liquid to the coil and the air to flow into the tank.
Just wanted to share this method, it could help to new iAtty users.
