it's still cheaper to get the NR wire Imeo recommends from wires.co.uk

even if you consider that it costs $31, including international postage, for 128 meters (~420 ft), it's a better value by 420%...
$0.31/4.2ft = $0.0738/ft..

This is why I decided to take Imeo's original choice..
i ordered this last night.
As for R wire, it's easier to get the nearly exact specification domestically..

Sterling Silver wire is cheaper than you think

I'm using 32ga kanthal A-1 for resistance and .999 fine silver 30ga for no resistance. Both can be bought from US suppliers on eBay in larger amounts for fairly cheap.

The kanthal is here at http://cgi.ebay.com/Resistance-heat...ultDomain_0&hash=item27bb288910#ht_1404wt_689

The silver is this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400174020403&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Hope this helps those looking for US suppliers. I know the fine silver is a bit more expensive than sterling, but I like the very low reactivity of the pure silver with PG and VG and a number of other ingredients that find their way to our juices like cinnamon oil and other highly reactive liquids.

Resistance heating wire, Kanthal D 36 awg 100ft | eBay

Think this should be ok for resistance wire too. I will be getting this, 100ft should last me quite awhile.

That will work. 36ga wire is better for making high resistance coils, if you are a high voltage vaper then it will be perfect. If you like LR better though, you will want to go with a thicker wire. the 36ga wire will only go around once or twice on an iAtty coil to get 1.2 - 1.6 ohms depending on how tight you wind it. The 32ga will get around 4-5 wraps for the same range and the 34ga will go around 3-4 wraps.

I speak from experience on this one but as always YMMV :)

+ you can save the Silver wire when you are done with it in your iAtty and stockpile the precious metal ;) So, consider it an investment as well.

Thanks for the info lord, I'm more of a LR user so that means 32guage would be better for me :)

Sounds good to me. Ordered the 32 and 34 gauge and your Kanthal too, I'll try them all.
