These things are beautiful, and have given me the I wants but I'm far too newbie to try and order one. That and I am not sure how cartomizers work as opposed to replaceable atomizer head in the tanks that I'm using now, though I have heard they work better. I know I go through a lot of the little suckers some times, I need knowledge so I can have one of these gorgeous things!

I'm also in need of some knowledge in regards to carto tanks. I've been considering giving them a try lately but I need to have a little better understanding of what I'm getting into before I make a purchase. The only thing that I've really decided on at this point is that if and when I do get my first carto tank it will be an IBTANKED product.

I've been doing a little research today and I'm starting to learn a few things. I found this blog by Baditude very helpful. Check it out if you haven't already done so:

I felt a little confused / intimidated by carto tanks at first too... not sure why anymore. The truth is that they are NO BRAINERS.
They aren't really too different in use from clearos.. You just have a carto instead of a head.

The only trick is learning how to prime your carto first (properly saturating the carto fillament before using). There's tons of methods and it really isn't hard at all. Yeah it takes a couple more minutes to set up than a clearo does, but you gain that time back (plus some) in how fuss free they are after that.

The vape is so much better and consistent!

He (baditude) is amazingly helpful... Made ny transition from clearos to cartos much less scary... :)

Loaned out my filler tip that I cut a while back. Filling a tank today using a store bought filler tip, I missed my own cut tip filler. So another tip got cut up to use for filling. This time the tip was already the right diameter to slide past the o-rings :)

A normal plastic drip tip cut in half and plugged with epoxy.

I want one too, they are beautiful!

Since I'm short of money right now, I picked up a cheap cartotank in a B&M a couple of weeks ago, just to see how I like them. I actually found it easy to prime and fill them, and I like how fuss free they are. Now I know that I definitely will order one of these!

does that work better than a needle? i can fill mine to within a tiny bubble..

The benefit to using a filler tip is saving the o-ring from getting cut by the carto edge when sliding it back up. Fill tips also keep juice from flooding into the top of the carto and since flooding isn't a concern it's easier for me to fill right to the top.
