I hear good things about the KR808 (vapor king from vapor4life.com) for folks who don't like to tinker, just vape.
plus, I believe the batteries last longer too.
the KR8 can be easier to use...but there are planty of places to get it other than v4L...I hear good things about the KR808 (vapor king from vapor4life.com) for folks who don't like to tinker, just vape.
like I said plenty of places to get a KR808D-1 other than V4L and cheaper too...as for the economical enough to be disposeable...that depends...slightly... if a carto lasts the same as half a pack of smokes and it's $10 for a 5 pack it's about the same depending on where you live..(here it costs the same if you only vape prefilled)I would suggest a kit from Vapor4Life. They are two piece models, and come with pre-filled "cartomizers", basically a flavor cartridge, and atomizer built together. You can prefill/refill if you like, but they are meant to be disposable, and economical enough to be disposable. Hope that helps.
that time estimate on shorties is just wrong... shortie batteries are 180mAh (same as standard 510 battery), regulars 280mAh (same as 510 mega battery), XLs 380mAh....hard use?....under hard use a 180mAh battery doesnt last me much longer than an hour at most (and with V4L premium cartomizers it's much worse)With 3 separate battery sizes to choose from, this is true. The shortys provide 3-4 hours of hard use, regulars 4-5, and XL 5-6 hours, and that is all hard use. You can choose from automatic(vaccum switch controlled), or manual(button controlled). Manual seem to have a longer life span, while auto simulates "smoking" more authentically. The VaporKing is a big plus in the ease of use area, while not slacking in the vapor/flavor department.
While I'd agree that the Kr808 is the 'easiest' to use, I've yet to find a V4L carto with a flavor I could stomach. But, taste is subjective. If you already have a juice with a flavor you like, you could always order blank cartos and fill them yourself. If you purchase one of the XL batteries, you'd be vaping 'worry free'.

>Agree with that...alot of their flavors have an underlying perfume/chemical tastes...has alot to do with the flavors having a base that has alot of the flavors derived from rose...
>they are somewhat idiot proof but have a steep learning curve at the beginning as far as burning the filler in the cartos, ruining auto batteries if they're dropped or flooded if you're refilling cartos yourself..
>but the most idiot proof is still going to be dripping on a 3 piece model with a manual battery
Just sounds to me as if you have some underlying issue with the aforementioned vendor. You are entitled to your opinion there kind sir.
This is the exact reason i hate posting on ECF, in any area, sub forum, whatever. A person tries to give an honest answer to a question, and always, a "negative Nancy" jumps out to slay someone's statements with "some hard facts", which to me really sounds like some disgruntled boohooing to me. Why?
And why does it have to be a specific model from a specific vendor...chearlead for them all you want on their subforum....but it comes down to it's a KR8 and tons of people carry them, some cheaper, some more expensive...suggest the model all you want...but give me cold hard reasons why the vaporking from V4L is better than any of the other KR8 out there...
Disgruntled boohooing? nah...I just won't by from them nor suggest them...their product is more expensive and their CS isn't all it's touted to be...and the irregularity in consistency of their products leaves a lot to be desired..
Seriously, am i inflating any truths here? The battery life IS NOT overstated. I own at least 2 of every battery "they" make. I have used the batteries like mad, and still to this day they operate just fine, AND PROVIDE THE CHARGE THAT I STATED IN MY POST. I find it hard to believe that a short style battery, with a KR8 carto won't last you an hour. I am not imagining things, fluffing facts to gross income to a company i have nil to do with, other than being a customer.
I wouldn't say inflating any truths....I'd say that giving any battery life in terms of how many hours it lsts you is totally subjective to your vaping style...shorties are 180mAh, regular batteries are 280mAh, XL batteries are 380mAh...they're going to last everyone differently...
You may be able to buy those specific batteries from different vendors for a cheaper price, but i would be surprised if those vendors offered warranties, and guarantees that are actually backed up. You get what you pay for.
Yes you do..you get what you pay for or sometimes you don't when they substitute items or forget items...but they're real good at trying to blind you with freebies to make you feel like part of the family. If the stuff you order is right in the first place and works like it should...you shouldnt have to warranty replace stuff all the time.
I would also like to respond to your burning filler comment, i have only experienced ONE faulty carto, out of the 300+ i have tried. It comes with the territory dude, how many atomizers have failed on you?How could a 3 piece be more simple than a KR8 battery, and KR8 cart?
Hrm..failed atties...one LR atty that I accidentally put on HV..as for the burned filler...have you opened them up and looked at them examined them for burning filler (heres a tip the premiums are worse) or made note of all the burning carto threads, or steves response when asked specifically about the burning filler issue? as for how a 3 piece can be simpler well lets see...we don't have the burning filler issue, dripping or dipping an atty is way more simple than refilling cartos...depending on which week you got your batteries you're not dealing with which battery has which holes and whether the draw is too airy or too tight and how to take care of that...
I'll crawl back into my hole now, and just keep quiet. Suppose the suggestions should be dealt out by you, the expert.![]()
Okay,I used V4L for quite a few months,Im one of the koolaid drinking sheep from the begining of the game.Things have changed. They started out all about better products and customer service, but sometime recently they dropped the ball. They were one of the best companies to deal with and I recomended them to alot of newbies. Now I get the feeling they forgot the game plan and the promises that were made,I think now,its all about building STEVE the perfect ecig and we foot the bill.I stopped buying my batteries from them and switched to a BB.I still buy cartos from them but only on sale when I can get an awesome deal.I totally agree that things have changed and people are unhappy about it.It really bothers me because I had alot of faith in Steve and I really believed and trusted he would care about us.That may sound stupid to you,but in the begining when he was working out of his house,He truely seemed to care and made everyone feel like we were part of what he was doing.Im going to pour out my koolaid and hang up my sheep costume now,it makes me sad.
