Sure can Aspen
Well where to begin..
Advantages
of cartomizers are ridiculously long liquid lives. They even top out past 2 fully charged KR batteries lasting around 5-6 hours total. The flavor is intense and the strongest in my opinion, which I'm sure enough to make that statement without a worry. The actual feel of vapor travel is absolutely there. Infact the pulls are tight enough to feel just like the real thing (no joke) The cartridge portion wicks so well that vapor production on a standard battery almost matches a high voltage mod.
It is as if the cartomizer harness all the good traits of every atomizer and utilizes them with complete finesse. I found myself converting a few days ago. I tried a 510 again today, took a few pulls and noticed I needed to drip already " Are you serious?" Back to carty's for me

Disadvantages
of cartomizers are some times upon receiving them fresh from anywhere, the chances of them being filled all the way is a hit or miss.
Suppliers cannot change this unless they tamper with the sealed casings that they come in. Just because the cartridge lasts very long, it still uses the same if not more juice consumption. TO properly re-fill a cartridge 15-18 drops is needed. Refilling them can be quite messy. To ensure a cleaner solution paper towels or something absorbent and flat should be laid down. Cartomizer's cannot handle 5-6 volts appropriately.
They will indeed get very hot and depending on the method of the user, it can burn their lips. Refilling can also be a hassle if you don't have an appropriate tool to remove the top cap without harming the center hole. Cartomizers are made to be disposable so they will die out before a regular standard atomizer, you can only get so many uses out of them. So when you drop off 18 or so drips let it sit for a few minutes then attach it to a battery, and come to find out that it has burned out. Thats not ever a good feeling.

So this is everything laid out my man. I still say even tho you have your disadvantages, the advantages are still superior and for the average price tag that they have on them '7.95' for a 5 pack, it still worth a shot. God, I wish had these separate packs NOW!

I ordered a passthrough and a couple of packs of coffee cartomizers (would have bought cartomizers from you... but I'm not a "tobacco" flavor kinda gal! :() to try while I waited for you to get more laser mods! ;) I'd put off trying the cartomizers, because I just didn't want to get into another type of regular e-cig... but I am really liking them! I'm still using the 1st two that I opened, and just refilling them just from the battery end.. and it's working great! I think I have a new "favorite" so please do carry more flavors in the cartomizers... and you'll have a very happy customer! ;)

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I have a lathe in my garage. It seems to me the simplest way to achieve 6V is to double the length of the battery tube and use (2) CR123A 3 volt batteries. I actually grabbed the 3 V bats when I ordered this little guy thinking the extended tube would be coming shortly. I'm going to give it a go next weekend and see how it turns out. Do you happen to know the thread size and pitch? It looks like 18mm x 1.5mm pitch. I wish it was warmer up here or I would have done this a while ago.

Well it doesn't have to be that one, theres like 800 different ones out there. I got blammed on another thread for not supplying a link so...

These HV mods are big enough to be a lightsaber handle but I'm looking for one with more cosmetic do dads on it that look like a real saber handle, I'd also like to be able to wear it on a clip on the side of my hip like Luke.

PS. I know I'm a dork but I don't think I'd be the only person to buy one.
Hey buddy, We're not going to be able to do it :( BUT I do have some Great info to get you started! I think your really going to like these finds friend.

no offense in the least! Mrs Mixxy! I knew what I was saying and what I had on hand when I said it. :D Ahh through the battery end, you have to becareful wit that hun, sometimes the atty's can drown pretty easily. if you re-fill them this way. I use the #2 crochet hook and a syringe. Both of these items work quite well. No mess at all. Pop off both caps, insert an 18g sharp syringe with 3/4ml juice down between the filling and cart. As you slowly release the juice into carto pull up on syringe, distribute this way 3 times around cart. Let sit for a minute and drop a couple drops on top of the filler.
Works for me.

Thats great Tina! I use a crochet too! (Atleast I 'm pretty sure it is, woden handle double sided deal) I didnt even think of using a syringe to re-fill! Thank You for the great contribution!

The real fun is still in the making-Hunh. Wait-Wait-Wait..... I've been waiting all my life, what's a little longer gonna do?!.

Aww Tina, I found what seems to be a good source on the ther thread, one is recommended from a member, he says the shipping is very fast from going gear and the other was just one I stumbled into

Hi HzG8rGrl, yes I am going to wait patiently. Good to hear you have a high recommendation for I have been saving my best for this. I really like the options all in one unit not to mention the slick button system all encapsulated. I know he's working on the sleeve for the higher volt and will have to give it a try when he stocks them. I actually have been quite hesitant to go higher volts thinking I am gonna love it and never want to go back to 3.7 or whatever. Right now I use a 3.7 with a high nic level. Maybe I will end up switching around to higher volts and less nic. Gotta explore all the options ya know. Appreciate the input.
Couldn't pass this sign off up, I am such a ....:D
Thanks a Chamelon HzG8rGrl

The button is perfection-nothing happens unless you want it to and is so easy on the click. Scratch resistant? YES! Multiple adapters for different experiences with your different juices. 801 for this juice, 901 for that juice and 510 for the harsh TH and cartomizer for the warmth of the vape. Gotta have that sleeve!
And the size is perfection, also. Not as if you feel you have to buy it dinner before vaping. Def not a one night stand.

What is a "sleeve". I gather something to put over a battery but what is it made out of. Rubber? What is it's function? Preventing battery leakage? Am I answering my own questions?

Isaac,
Are you going to carry cartos in the future?

Aww Jo! You shoulda whacked me for not paying attention! In my favorite thread no less! An Extension sleeve is made from the same aluminum thats used for the Chameleon, it's ultra light weight, shy under half an ounce really. It's anodized in the same scratch resistant material thats used on Chameleon also. It will let you use 2 cr-123a 3.0 volt batteries for 6 volt vaping OR if you pick up a higher Ω atomizer thats built for 7.2-8.0 volts you can use 2 3.6 volt battery as well. Also You can use an unprotected 17670or Protected 14670 battery, they both are 3.7 batteries that really have an output of 4.2 and a much longer life than the norm. (1800 mah) Mah is the life of your battery. Where as e-cigs are equipped with 300 mah lasting from 2-3 hours for a heavy vaporer and a 16340/cr-123a 880mah will give you 5-7 hours and so on.
There is an 18650 3000mah battery but it's awfully large and not that conventional to carry around, unless your indoors ofcourse
I'm still working on the carto's but it's not much of a priority at the moment. I have something very special coming.
