Short answer to your question is we don't know.

What we do know is we have to see the proposed Deeming order and regulations first to know If there may be problems getting vendor nic juice And according to what the intent said we should see that sometime between now and the end of April 2013.

After the proposed deeming order and regulations are published in the Federal Register there will a public comment period, likely to be one month, but we wont know for certain until the time is announced.

Then the tricky part starts again, the FDA has to at least pretend to consider the public comments and then make their final decision on if they do issue the Deeming order and regulations at all, as proposed, or with revisions. This could be done quickly(like in a months time) OR could drag out as long as they want. IF in the end they were to decide to not issue a deeming order or regulations they are not under any obligation to tell us that and could just keep us hanging forever (like THAT'S gonna happen  but it is possible).

I have a 1/2 gallon of 100% nic in the freezer just in case!

The thought was running through my mind about the time I scrolled down to your post. Just out of curiosity, is there any degradation from being kept in the freezer for long periods of time? I could not even try to guess how many years a 1/2 gallon of 100% nic could last me :)

I cant find anything saying to the contrary the vendors I asked said it cant hurt it but they cant say it makes it last for ever ether. I have 8 250ml jugs Ive accumulated. Im going for a gallon by April. then if the hammer falls I can stock up on flavors and bottles. I have several 30 round clips and amo for my SKS to protect it with also!!!!!

Thanks for the info, think I might stock up some myself, it's relatively inexpensive (compared to buying analogs) anyway, it'll get used one way or another :)

I've actually got myself down to about 5 nic and lower right now, and I'm pushing myself lower and have been baling zero nic lately, that way even if the hammer falls, pg, vg, and flavoring should still be legal and I can make my own zero nic juice.

Yeah, I'm down to 2mg nic myself. Which means my 60mg nic base would last ages. I still might buy a little extra in the next month or two though. Just in case! ;)

Where you least expect it....

I hope you mean 100mg nic. Since 100% would require a hazmat suit and is extremely dangerous.

I'll advise people to stay away from such practices.

But... but... but... if you're the grim reaper, wouldn't you want people to play around with 100%?

Seriously, though... if you're going to DIY, start off with some 36% to get a feel for it. Once you're confident in your percentages and calculations you can move up to the heavy duty stuff, but 100mg is the highest any home DIY'er should ever mess with.

Yes, yes I did mean 36mg...

And I hope you mean 3.6% instead of 36%. 100 mg would be 10%.

My life has changed so dramatically since I started vaping over three years ago that if the hammer fell, I would stop vaping all together. I wouldn't be able to go back to smoking cigarettes, I run eight miles daily nowadays, and I wouldn't risk that by picking up a cigarette under any circumstance.

Kudos on the exercise, m00nshake! I've been known to sit atop the exercise bike a few times recently.:D

I've been "semi" freaking out about juice suppliers "all of a sudden" being shut down. No way would I touch another cigarette, under any circumstance. Thinking about stocking up, but that would only get me so far. Wonder how much a 55 gallon drum of Halo would cost?

Like most of you, I have my stash. I've been reducing my nic mg per ml with every batch with no noticeable side affects/withdrawals. I'll never stop vaping for any reason since I DIY my flavors and it'd just be silly if the FDA tried to ban baking goods :) Even if they do it'd just be the good ol' "Prohibition" days all over again. "Vape Easy" anyone? :)

As for nicotine: just look to Australia for the answer.... Most of the laws are geared towards tobacco.. There are plants that produce way more nicotine. Just a thought.

They were able to shut down the roll your owns....because of big tobacco I'm sure...I hope it doesn't happen...but I trust no one on the political level....the lobbies control everything ...

What makes you believe big tobacco would want to stifle their own business?
So long as they can sell tobacco and roll your own Is tobacco, why would they want to kill it?
Same goes with eliquids, if they can move into a new area of what is essentially their market, why would they want to kill it?
BT may not be viewed by many here as friends but rather the devil you know.

I'm with Theken on this, if eliquid were to be legislated against and the threat came closer to reality the first sign would be the sudden jump in the cost of eliquids.
