So, here's a dumb question. Don't sacrifice me for asking. Is there anything Reo users do not like about them? What, if anything, would hinder me from buying one?

It's OK to ask that, but I don't know of anything I would change that is technically possible (ie: bigger battery in smaller space). Obviously, that excludes the REO TARDIS...but I'm sure Rob is working on it

First off, I'm pretty much the same story, started with an eGo-T, ended up REO, for many of the same reasons.

Now that I have a couple of weeks of Grand use under my belt, I have two issues (not complaints, just things I've had to adapt to): the door and the button.

The door slides up and down great when you need it to, but it also does it when you don't. I've toyed with the idea of putting another magnet on the bottom of the door, or perhaps making some kind of physical ledge to prevent it from sliding in one direction (probably down).

The button, while very functional (love the twist/power feature), has just enough of an edge around the perimeter to give you an owie thumb during marathon vaping sessions until you build up a callous. This can be remedied with a cap, made from the innards of a syringe or by molding one with clay, but as the button is perfectly cylindrical, any sort of cap you put on it will only have the slightest friction grip on it and will spin freely, making it hard to determine whether the unit is switched on or off.

Neither one of these is a dealbreaker by any means - but if the Modfather asked me what I'd do to improve upon his fantastic design, these are the two things I'd mention. Respectfully, of course!

bending the door..?

IMO i wouldnt do it. I used some extra vinyl decal laying around and put some on, then put electrical tape on my batts, kinda rotate the tape out a little and slide the door up snug

I've always used my Reo's the way they were ment to be..call me crazy.
never needed instructions.

I've heard of doing that, but never had the nerve (or need) to try it. Sounds pretty easy to do, could you just lay it on top of something round (like a needle) on a flat surface, so you don't have to worry about bending it too much?

I suppose so. Honestly it was pretty easy. The door was very strong. It's a Reo. I didn't put a 90 degree angle in it or anything. Just looking at the door itself you can't even tell. It only took a very very little bit.

A 510 drip tip!

You are so ready. The cartos Rob sells on his site work very well too, just in case you don't have any and think you'd go that route someday.

We are practically neighbors Mudflap! I'm in deep east Texas...Nacogdoches area.
I'm set on 510 drip tips for now. (don't want to pick out a purdy one 'til my baby is in my hand.)

BTW~ I have some 2.0 and 2.7 LR Boge cartos. Am I correct in thinking NOT to use the 2.7's on the REO?
I am trying to progress on these learning curves, but the car goes smack off the road with the ohms, volts, resistance and all that joogley gunk.
Also have the 510 atty's that came with my Riva SE and eGo-T...can I use them or not? I'm assuming they are standard resistance.

Howdy, neighbor!

The 2.0Ω Boge cartos are great on the Reo. The 2.7Ω cartos would work too, but provide a cooler vape due to the higher resistance. There's no harm in using them if you like them.

Your 510 attys that came with your Riva and eGo T can also be used on your Reo, but if they're tank atomizers, I'm not 100% sure how they'd work on a bottom feeder. I've never owned any tank atomizers.

If you have a multimeter, watch this video by Basilray to learn how to check the resistance (ohms) on your atomizers.
