if they banned ecigs I would end up back on analogs, I enjoy vaping because its a low risk alternative to smoking, but I'm not going to break any laws just to vape.

That is very sad to hear.

Luckily for me vaping is simply a hobby more or less for me now. I was even vaping no-nic for months but switch back to my own mix of 1.5mg just for a little kick. But yeah I don't want to stop as I like the hobby and I am probably mentally addicted to the routine but I am certain I could get over it.

I cant even consider going back to those nasty tasting and smelling things, it is truly unthinkable. If you vape for years you would probably think it was unthinkable to go back as well.

If they outlawed them completely (which I think will never happen) I would have to just stop using them or just use it at home on rare occasions (until I ran out).

I would definitely stockpile and continue to use in public. Good luck getting caught if you're watchful. Then again I might just go back to my analog pipes and cigars and light up in protest until they took me away. It's getting so ridiculous I'm wondering if they do ban will people just choose to disobey the laws in protest? We could start a vape fest. Or vape across America. Or vape-ins.

Well I'm past the DYI part I've been doing that for 2 years now. My big problem is storage. I live with roommates in a tiny apartment. I cant use the main fridge I have no room for a 2nd. I'm not sure what to do.
Nic doesn't absolutely have to be put in the freezer. Until we move into a house wth room for a second freezer, I'm keeping my nic stash in a small cardboard box hidden in the back of a bottom cabinet.

All that matters is that it's cool, dark, and dry. That's good enough if you have no other option.

I have already "stockpiled" a few items because of possible panic buying, fueled by real or rumor-related regulations. Fortunately, I know how to build coils and they cannot outlaw natural cotton twine or wire...lol. I'm not sure what the shelf life of batteries are, but I've got a few and could convert to other types. I also know how to make e-juice. Having said this, I seriously doubt it will come to any sort of "banishment." Prices may soar for a while, but products will still be sold on the Internet.

Here is the USA, I am not that worried. I am smarted than the average bear(I hope) and about on par with the average human. For my vaping needs, I need the following...

1.)Propylene glycol(legal and available)
2.)Vegetable glycol(legal and available)
3.)An Altoids tin or similar container(legal and available)
3.)Battery(legal and available)
4)Some sort of atomizer\tank(legal and available or just machine one)
5)Some kind of wicking material(cotton works but there is better, anyways legal and available)
6)Kanthal\Nichrome wire(legal and available)
7)Flavoring(legal and available)
8)Nicotine(nature provides)
9)Google-How to extract nicotine nicotine extraction
10)Nicotine testing kit

Pain in my ...? Prob, but the only rights you ever have in life are the rights you take for yourself. No one ever gives you rights. You take them. I am sure someone will disagree, but it's either really this easy or you can go back to smoking cancer sticks. I am not invested in your health, just me and mine.

This is a question that I have. Lets say someone moves gradually from 18mg to 12mg to 9mg to 6mg and then to 0mg successfully before this so called Ban takes place.

Will we be able to buy 0mg online with flavor?

Premixed, as you would buy it now? I doubt it.

That is, if nicotine e-juice were banned, it's doubtful that the industry would remain otherwise intact as we know it today. Some vendors would no doubt persist in selling hardware (either explicitly labeled as e-cig hardware or carefully marketed as though for a more generic purpose), and some vendors would doubtlessly find a way to keep selling flavored e-juice with or without nicotine -- but most vendors probably aren't gonna bother selling 0-nic premixed e-juice if the bulk of their customers (nicotine users) have been driven either to quit vaping or to learn how to make their own juice.

But flavorings will never completely disappear, because they're used in food. Ditto PG/VG. And batteries will never disappear, and flashlight-style battery tubes will never disappear. And so on and so forth. Those of us who are sufficiently determined and sufficiently knowledgeable will be able to continue vaping in one way or another, no matter what obstacles government(s) place in our way.

Unfortunately, our preparing for the worst on an individual basis does nothing to help the millions of smokers who might be cheated out of the option to switch.
