LOL. I felt that way at first. You have my sympathy.

Have you tried wrapping the coil around a needle or nail along with the wicking material? I found that that helps a lot, as it gives you something solid against which to make nice, even wraps. It also prevents to whole thing from bunching up and getting too tight, which I had a tendency to do at first.

And then there are all those online instructional videos. There don't seem to be many for the IGO yet, but the basic techniques are the same as those used in the Vivi Nova rebuild, which might help.

Dave uses a machine screw with large spaced threads. No need to adjust coils that way since the coils sit in the threads. Pretty decent way of doing. Just wanted to throw that out there. Go dave!

Thanks, guys. Picked one up from Vapor Bank at a few dollars premium, but what the h3|| - immediate gratification wins out. Picked up an AGA-T and glass tank too. Have a couple mods that are atty-less at the moment. If I like the igo-l, I will be picking up a couple more (though, not from there)

Sometimes The old saying is true keep it simple, had read about cotton wicks and got some peaches and cream cotton yarn in white and decided to try some in my Igo-L. I just don't see how it could be any better. The flavor is so clean, better than silica or mesh in my opinion. I was not expecting it to taste that good and tons of steam. Can be had at wally for a couple bucks. So impressed I had to post.
