Just emptied tank didnt know it was to my suprize with chip coil in didnt burn cotton and it wicked all the juice up and cotton was still white even using a dark color juice. Had a slight taste of dry hit but not like most other coils when you run dry. Couldnt see juice level in my disguiser reason I rank tank empty. And had to take completely apart to get chuff cap off and no juice left to spill. I am impressed with the premade coils and how well they wick.

So far on my disguiser it is liking it around 50 to 52 watts on the .3 ohm with afc 1/2 or less open. My preference on the afc on the disguiser though. I think you wont be disappointed with this tank. Hopefully the angled chuff will be listed also. Unless they put it in as a surprise for you. @franck

Ok so my tornado nano showed up about an hour ago so I'll share my first impressions, first off the rba,put in a 316 l ss 3.5 mm coil, wicked it up and off I was,NOT IMPRESSED I must admit, you have to put sooo much cotton in there or else it will leak, yes it vapes, yes it put out clouds, but not smoothly, again because cotton is too packed in there, next time I will wick it up as another reviewer showed us in a previous thread where he puts his cotton down into the juice channels and then screws on the barrel, maybe I'll have more luck that way who knows, now on to the coil head, disappointed there as well, again it vapes, makes vapor, but not smooth at all,yes I know you might think am a little picky but I like a smooth air flow, this thing is anything but,it's scratchy at best,I have it at 60 watts and its homing out at .28,I guess my expectations were just set too high, but at the present time am glad I only ordered one and that coils where on pre order or else I would have ordered a boat load as well, maybe I got a bad coil? am only running 80% vg juice in it so it should be hitting smoothly but alas it's not the case at least not for me,any body else out there got some nano chip coils story to share? sorry for being such a party pooper guys just keeping it real:-/

Hi all, just a quick update on using the tornado nano tank in rta mode,I must admit I almost quit using and/or throwing it against the wall lol,but my persistence paid off,it's quite tempermental to wick,or at least I found it to be,the best way to do it I found is to leave your wicks a little on the long side, then try your best to screw on the collar portion in place but keep as much cotton as possible out of the threads, then trim the cotton that is protruding from the juice slots, then using something pointy tuck them nicely to make sure the whole juice Chanel's are completely sealed off,so far I have not gotten any leaking using this method, even when refilling, hope this will help some of you who might have had some issues wicking you're nano;-)

Why have I not built on the rba yet!? What's wrong with me!? I'm not a factory coil person at all!! It's those rewicked chip coil folks. It's just such a great vape rewicked with rayon that the rba hasn't been necessary. Chaining at 75w now that the rayon has broken in is gett'n er done.
The flavor IS very good but it ain't no Aromamizer, but then again, what is? I'd say the flavor with this rewicked chip coil is about 85% as good as an Aromamizer though and that's great for a factory coil!!

Wow that's great cigatron,it's crazy how everyone as different experiences,am glad that chip coil is working out for you,I rewicked it about 5 different times using kendo cause that's all I have,I experimented with different amounts of cotton but found to be such a harsh dry vape ! but it might just be me,I like a really smooth vape, smooth air flow on the inhale and just could not get it with that pre made coil,so am stuck rebuilding which kinda sucks cause originally I got the tank to use it primarily with the pre made coils when I just get tired of building,in rta mode it's very finicky when it comes to wicking,it will just leak with no warning especially on refills,SIGH:-(

Cigatron is you're coil hitting smoothly? Maybe I got a bum coil who knows! I don't think using rayon would make that much of a difference then using kendo? What do think? Am hoping they come out with different coils in the future,I know they have one with just straight kanthal I think it's like a .6 ohm coil rated up to 40 watts,I might give those a try when they come out,am also looking forward to seeing reviews on the eagle tank from geek vape which will also be using pre made coils,I think they have like 15 different coil heads to choose from, crazy no? Plus the coil heads have x screws so when the cotton goes bad you can change it much easier then the nano coil,I think that's cool as hell,we will have to wait and see, later bud;-)

Hi my fellow vapers and nano users, quick question for the ones using the rta deck (jseah buddy I know you are) how high are you placing your coils from the build deck? I have mine pretty low and it's smooth at times so before I have to rewick it which is a pain for me I must admit,I just wanted to see if you ran them on the high side or low side? Thanks guys;-)

I set my coils fairly high. Looking at the coils from the side, they are just a hair above being centered between the screws. When I tighten in my coils, I have the coil centered horizontally and vertically and then once the screws are tightened, I will lift the coils up a bit and there is just enough give to move up a tad. I'm still trying to work out the wicking to get it right. I wick with rayon and it vapes great for the first day. After the first day, it seems to vape a bit more rough and I will start to get a bit of leaking whenever I do refills.

I've actually put the tank to the side for now. I've got an order in for replacement chip coils and want to wait until I get them in before I start using the tank again. I just like the chip coil so much better because it is so much easier to use.

Hey jseah thanks for you're reply, yea I feel you're pain bud,am having the exact same problem I just cannot get to vape smoothly and the leaking does not help either, that's weird though I didn't thing the chip coils vaped smoothly either! Unless I got a bum coil,I might get some of the straight kanthal .6 ohm coils that are rated at 40 watts or so,maybe they might be a little smoother,at least I know that am not alone thinking this thing doesn't vape smoothly,it pisses me off when all the reviewers praise this thing like its the greatest rta ever, they are all lying there assess off and I've told a few of them that;-)

By the way not sure how wick yours but I do it a little bit differently,by that I mean I don't pull my wicks up thru the screw on chamber, because I feel that having to push down into place packs the cotton too much,I just cut my cotton wicks a little longer, then screw on the chamber making sure that my cotton doesn't get trapped into the threading, then I cut off the access that's sticking out and then tuck it nicely into the juice ports with something pointy, then I juice the slots up so they gets absorbed and sealed up nice, then I fill it up ect, ect, that as worked well as far as leaking after refills,my problem is getting to vape smoothly which I have not been able to master and I must have rewicked that thing at least 20 + times :-/

@franck, just wondering if some of your probs with dryhitting and inconsistent vapor production has something more to do with your wicking strategy than the device itself. Are you wicking the coils loose, medium or tight? With cotton or rayon I wick the coils really tight. Tighter with rayon than cotton but either way I put A LOT of wicking in the coil.

Symptoms of underwicked coils:
1. Post vape sizzle
2. Dry hits
3. Burny hits
4. Short wick life
5. Not being able to vape at the wattages everyone else seems to vape at with a particular device.
6. Spitty vapor droplets burning your tongue or lips.

Extra note: Twisted coils like those found in the nano chip coil require very tight wicking to keep the spitties away.

I'll need to try that next time.
