Well I remembered my CE2 MAP tank vaping and with the quick down hill swirl of the hand between puffs like I did with it and this baby really rocks now. There's a prime example of user error even from someone that knows how too. I'm really enjoying this thing more and more as we become accustomed to one another.

BTW great review Swithed as always and I agree. But not with vaping VG.:laugh::laugh:
Oh sure, you tease me about a vaping ritual but you do a little flushing toilet swirl with yours... LOL (only teasing!)

What kind of terrible bad things have you done to that poor thing Loft? LOL Mine hasn't leaked a drop (knock on wood)
I've not done much to this tank. It's only gone through 3ml (not counting what it spit all over my desk and all over the battery...) Now the button is sticky. Grr.

I remember my MAP tank with a CE2 doing the same thing. Only way more juice and twice. It doesn't leak any more though with a Fusion in it.

BTW you didn't see my new tank. I only have to fill it 3 times a yr.

Thanks. Very informative.

Do you think flavor would be better with 80/20 or 70/30 PG/VG? Also, when you say muted flavors, are we talking about in comparison to dripping or other cartos? I suppose if the resistance were dropped a little, flavor could become stronger (i.e. the difference between a normal Fusion and an LR Fusion at 3.7 volts).
Flavour is entirely subjective to each individual. IMHO you can never replace the flavour of dripping, and even then it depends on the atomiser. If you put too many sticks in the fire, eventually one is going to burn itself out.

Wrt liquid viscosity, I vape 100% VG which I dilute 20% with distilled water for my tank, cart and carto applications. I make my own liquid so it is tailored to my needs. That being said because I use my liquids in a plethora of units and devices, I can say which is crisper than the other.

I hope this makes sense.

I got my Ikon tank in with the battery.

Filled it up with some 70/30 pg/vg BWB Pear, and vaped the whole tank dry. Never once did I have a burning taste, never once did it leak (except the drop or two atop the silicon cap, but thats not really a leak). I'm about to refill it again continue vaping. IMHO, these things are incredible.

The flavor is great, the vapor is tremendous, TH is nice and warm. I couldn't ask for a better way to vape, honestly. If I had stacks of perfect Ikon tanks it would be all I would use. Its just so simple and a chain vapers dream. I haven't beat the hell out of mine yet, but I've never had such amazing performance from any tank/ce2 mod, and I've tried a LOT.

Possible improvements for it could be filling through some sort of bottle adapter, and maybe a little plug for the needle insert.

I'll just say this, if ANY improvement is made from the beta product I have received, (Ikon tank) then IMHO it will be the greatest thing to happen to vaping so far, and I know thats a big statement, but again, JMHO. I really love these things, i can't wait to be able to order them, and hopefully can get it hooked up to my ProVari.

Will update with anything noteworthy

Btw, Thanks Isaac. You truly are da man.

2.0ohm. Battery is (of the test unit) 650mah. But for some reason the battery is lasting me a full day...

Funny you should say this. I received the same battery and off a factory charged have vaped about 3ml of juice, and its still going lol. Two days so far without recharging, they must be magic batterys, or the wattage setup and current/power whatever is just very battery friendly.

My battery is finally starting to die i think, as the vapor is decreasing, and unfortunately I didn't have an ego usb charger, so I have to wait until Saturday to recharge mine :( :( :(
