Isaac,

I was wondering if you might be able to help me with my Chameleon.

I had ordered it originally when you first offered them and those had some problems with battery fit and connection inconsistency.

Since that time I've been on short term disability battling a very troublesome disorder. Needless to say everything else has taken a back seat until I found medication and therapy, etc.

From my local vaping group here in Arizona I was told that you have since gotten these refitted and they now fit batteries better and do not have connection issues any longer.

If I remember correctly, my unit is under your one year warranty, correct? Can you instruct me on how I should get this to you for a swap out or retro fit or something like that? I have not been able to use it since I purchased it and now being on disability I don't have the money to purchase a new mod and my little 510 pass through is all I have to vape with. I'd really like to have something I can carry with me.

Let me know, and thanks in advance!

Hi Rhaevyn!
I responded to your pm, I'm very sorry for the delay.
I seen your pm and had it up on a tab for the whole weekend! lol I'm so sorry for the delay. My 6 year old daughter comes home every weekend from living her weekdays with her grandmother. Since I only have her part time, I have about 5 days of love and fun to cram into 3, technically 2. We got to do alot of stuff this weekend, like make up for Easter, so we had a little egg hunt with gift baskets and toys hehe.

Oh my! I'm so sorry! That's just terrible. I hope you are coping well. That's just worst thing ever. I really hope your condition isn't too intense and that eases up or doesn't get too serious. :(

We now have the batteries that fit just perfect for the unit and 5 volts is attainable via Hv atty. Folks blow through standard atomizers on 5v as it is. I tweaked my 5.2 901 3.5 510's and 5.2 801 to put out an optimal of 5 volts. The AW batteries are the best of the best batteries, especially for vaping, they are powerful and the Limn lasts me a seriously whopping 12 hours. I'm not blowing smoke here, but vapor! lol Really though, these batts seem like they were made for the Chameleon. I'm working on the LV510 to deliver the simulation of 5 volts on 1 16340 battery. 1.5Ω is just too low, imo.
Again I really hope your disorder, clears up and miraculously vanishes.
Sincerely,
Isaac

I just received my new LPV3 and I have a question:

I was so excited that I stuck the battery in with the positive pointing down and screwed on a 510 cart. Nothing, tried two or three different ones including a 510 to 808 adapter. Still nothing. Then I put the battery on the charger for a few minutes - green light after about 15 minutes so, thought I would give it a try. Still nothing, and the cartos worked fine on other batteries/PTs. I looked at the LPV3 threads and connector and it looked like there was juice on it, maybe a carto had leaked, but it wouldn't wipe off. I used a dental tool and it was some kind of dark yellow gummy stuff, almost like rubber cement.

Well, I removed it and screwed on a carto. It works great now. What was that gummy stuff? Is it normal packing/protective stuff?

I keep blowing attys on my Chameleon when I'm using it as a 6v or 7.4v device. I have zero problems when using it as a 3.7v device though. I even fryed a high voltage 901 atty on it.I have plenty of liquid on the atty and it lets me take 1 or 2 really harsh drags, then it just stops working. At this point the atomizer is dead and won't work on the Chameleon or any other device. This obviously really sucks because I want that 6v sweet spot but I don't want to keep blowing attys trying to figure this issue out. Someone please help! I'm stumped.

First off I must say that I am Super Happy with my Chameleon and shopping experience! Ikenvape is AAA+ in my book..

My question is:
My 510 adapter is a very tight draw with my Iken&LiquidExpress 510 cartomizers ....so much so that I cant really use them. My TW regular 510 atty is better on it but it is still a little stiff draw.
Was just wondering if I may have got a bad 510 adapter?

a little bummed cause the 510 is my main Atty of choice. I can always get a 901 > 510 adapter but I didn't want to add length to it.

Lovin my chameleon though....been vaping at 4.2v & 5.5v....this devise is Awesome

Hey guys! Please please please forgive me for being so late, Val was terribly sick with Strep throat and the Flu. I was taking care of her, and now I have it. I'll spare the gruesome details, but please know there is a reason for our slow times. Val is getting much better and I'm slowly getting there.

Ahh what you have found sir, is the epoxy glue. It makes a beautiful alternative to solder, perfectly lead free in every which way, safer and cleaner.

Hi Blue,
So your atomizers are failing at 7+ volts but performing well at 3.7? It sounds like there can be some confusion going on. An XHV atomizer that is meant for 7+ volts, will preform extremely weak on 3.7V, so weak, it will be difficult to even tell if the atom is active.

We have Hv and XHV editions. The Xhv is only available in 801 and 901 for the moment. We do have 901 with the same 5.2 ohm rating, but there is a significant difference in the two. Again HV and XHV. The Xhv actually has been rebuilt from the ground and have proven to be far superior than most atomizers on the market today. I can't find your information by your screen name. Can you please grab your receipt and verify which atomizers you have? Or just give me an email and we'll see what we can do to remedy this problem. Don't worry Blue, I wont let you walk away from us being sad. :thumb:

Thats so great to hear Tk!!!!! You just made my day!! I don't have the 510 connectors on hand, but the Chameleon is being ordered today. It would've been much quicker but The Chameleon creator likes to mimic the Chinese holidays, (trust me it gets very annoying considering the fact that he lives in Amsterdam!) :D I'l be sure to order extra 510 connectors.:)

just wanted to let ya know i got the IMR high drain 16340 and they fit perfect. Thank you for measuring the length for me when i asked you to. anyway do these need to be charged initially a special amount of time or put them on the charger til the led turns green?
also question on your 510 attys the Low Voltage 510 2.5 ohm. are these the Low Res attys you were working on. you said 1.5ohm was too low and i agree. they get very hot at 1.5 and then they can burmn out easily. I am interested in your 2.5ohm attys. i have 510 attys called expert attys and that has 2.7 ohms and they rock. so these 2.5ohm atys can you tell me a few things about them vapor and Throat hit wise. also is the bridge thin or wide on these? thanks Isaac for the great batteries. these IMR high drains last all day when ya vape at 3.7v with a LR atty. Thanks

Hiya Cos!
Nope, these 2.5's are nice and provide a nice smooth burn. I'm not sure how to measure the units, wattage/load and what not. My weak point has always been math, of almost any nature. Maybe Droizd will catch this post? I didn't stop the search for the nicest spot though. We do have a nice sweet selection of LR Atty's coming though. Until they arrive and we can give them a few tests...they just may be perfct for 3.7volts. In the mean time, all we can do is :pop:

As for the batteries, they do come pre-charged, they actually under-go quadruple the amount of QC tests compared to any battery manufacture in the world, before they are shipped.

Get better quick guys. Being sick is so terrible.

Thanks Nut! Slowly but surely, Val went into work today and, on her way home now. She actually wanted to leave early! Knowing Val, she would never evvvver would want to do that. She's a true hardworking person that just absolutely loves her job. I'm making them a dinner before they get here hehe.

Haha Homework is always need in the book of vaping. ;)
Honestly, I received the adapter and kit needed for the Chameleon and in the mean time of tinkering around, I was discussing and learning from a friend/customer about it. When everything was set-up it seemed so unstable to the point where I didn't feel comfortable supplying it. So I ended up just sending it over to him free of charge.

I'll explain without vagueness, The adapter itself goes on like any other Chameleon adapter. BUT when I said "Adapter & Kit" The Kit is the unstable part. You see, the kit is an actual Chameleon short body tube. Once you hook up the adapter in place, you then set the tube over it, so it sits on the Chameleon's cone. Then you place the G atomizer into the tube, onto the adapter. This leaves the tube loose and free moving. If you were to even drop the chameleon, the tube and atomizer alike would probably go flying. I told the manufacture that I refuse to supply them until they figure put a way to solidify it. If you would still be interested Whiskey, I'll make a special order for you and anyone else that would really want one. :)

The new 808 cartomizers that you are going to be putting up, are they still the kind with the wire up through the middle that you can see, or are they like the 510 cartos without the visiblie wire in the center?

Quick story as I only have 30 mins then I have to leave for the kiddos graduation... I had to stop using cartos because I had an allergic reaction to them. I didn't want to spend a ton of money to find out exactly what I am allergic to so I just stop using them about 3 months ago. No problems since I stopped using them. So then you send me a couple of the 510 cartos and I thought what the heck, they look different inside so I'll give it a try. NO PROBLEMS!!! Been using them for 3 days and I love them!! No reaction what so ever. Now being I'm a very curious person, I tried one of the old 808s I still have and sure enough I had the same allergic reaction. The 510s seem to be made different and I read somewhere that there are some 808s that are made like the 510 so am wondering if these are the kind you will be having.

I'm definitely getting some of the 510s when you put them up, and if the 808s are the same, I'll get some of those too. I'm sooooo happy to be able to use cartos again. At least on the LVPs. I'll still use the 302s on the Chameleon because I like that set up a lot.

Thank you so much for sending those for me to try!! I would have never tried them on my own.

Ok I'm gone until late tonight, then in and out all weekend as my parents are here visiting for the weekend.

Happy Vaping!!!

Mabey not then...It looked cool but I'll stick with reg stuff Ha Ha..The other question was for the bats...I ordered a combo kit w/charger & the rcr123a's but they said 3.0v not 3.7v & that they don't make 3.7v..Is that true? will i be okay with these with a reg 510 atty?:confused:Ps any Eta on 2nd shipment would be awesome dude
