hello there ikenvapers... so I've got a question, I recently made the move from clearos to carto tanks and so far I am struggling to find a carto that performs like I thought they would. Not enough wicking to flooding, super burn taste vapes etc...
I have some Ikenvapes on order. Are these cartos that much better? or am I doing something wrong here?
The only other option I have is to start rebuilding...

yes im using them in an IBTanked, I usually take a short slow hit, inhale and then take a loooong strong pull right after to get my hit.

Well, for starters, make sure that Gollum is nowhere in the vicinity, because that little creep will muck everything up for you. Next, watch out for Pippin & Merry too, because they like to play practical jokes.
All THAT aside, I have personally found much better luck with the slotted cartos than I had previously experienced with the punched ones. The experts (all who are resident here) tell me that's because the slots let significantly more juice in, thereby keeping them wetter. And a wet carto IS a happy carto (or so I'm told by the universal language of "Wetter is Better").
I don't know if you ordered the slotted ones, but if you did and they don't work out for you, cartos might not be for you.
And to answer one of your questions directly, I do believe the Ikenvapes are better. I can only speak that as opinion though, and cannot offer scientific proof to backup my claim. I'm thrilled with them.

Drawing too hard on them can cause problems. I take very long gentle pulls on mine (also using an IBT setup) which will help a lot. What about your juice? High VG? What cartos have you been using? The Smok single coil I assume (the ones that IBT sells with their tanks)? How about your gear (MVP, Provari, etc)? If you're using VV or VW, what are you setting it to & what resistance carto?
