Exactly my mentality at this age J5. Levis and a t-shirt. If it's dressy, I might fold a crease and wear a blouse. I used to have to wear hard hat and steel toed boots for work, I'll be damned if I'm going to dress uncomfortably these days. At home it's sweats or shorts!

I've seen Carhartts in the Tractor Supply store Oz, and if I actually had to work at manual labor I might would try them. Duluth is the other brand that comes to mind, but probably because their commercials are amusing

The 9ers and Raiders are like two old guys in a rest home trying to relive old memories of how it used to be. All they have to look forward to are long forgotten by anybody under 80.
Oh and these guys agree who is best. :) NFL Power Rankings Preseason - National Football League - ESPN

The 'Hawks are like the young bull up on the hill. He sees a bunch of pretty cows down in the valley. He says to the older bull " Come on, come on, come on.... let's charge down there and make love to one of those cows"

The older bull replies " Slow down young whipper snapper.... We'll mosey on down the hill and make love to them ALL "

See 5er, it's good to sprint out and grab a Ring......... But it's Great to run the marathon and have "5 Golden Rings"

The Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks are still atop the odds to win Super Bowl XLIX as the preseason comes to a close, with the New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers following them on a futures board that now has a gap between the top handful of teams and the second tier of NFL championship contenders.

Denver is at 6/1 and Seattle is at 13/2 on the odds to win Super Bowl XLIX, with New England at 7/1 and San Francisco at 15/2. The Green Bay Packers then sit at 10/1 on that odds list, with the New Orleans Saints at 12/1, and the Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, and Philadelphia Eagles all back at 20/1. The Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers, and San Diego Chargers are all listed at 33/1 odds.

New England is like the 9ers. They're all washed out. Their Qb's are old men that don't know when to quit. Worse than that their coaches are getting feeble because they keep paying those old guys.

I think Denver will win. Those are last years odds.

I know one thing for sure. The Seahawks will either win or lose. There's no doubt about it.

Lol, I've heard about Duluth but I've never tried them. They sponsor (or used to sponsor?) the Firearms Radio Network, so I've never seen their commercials. Come to think of it, I think they only ever had live reads, no actual recorded commercials. Anyways, the Carhartts were a must when I was working with steel, but I got so used to them that they're still the only pants I buy. They take a beating, last forever & keep looking good while they're at it. The pair I bought 2 years ago are slightly faded, but other than the hem on the end of the legs & the pocket where I clip my knife, they're showing no real wear. Plus, Carhartt green looks pretty spiffy :D

Morning Fran and Ikenpeeps!!

I don't do good in pools DP. (I did good in vegas in the early 80's tho! That's why I like the Skins so much. They made me a lot of money back in the day!) And growing up in St. Louis, we had a crap football team.

Get this... one of the few pools I've played in was the basketball brackets. I got my money back because I was dead last!!!

I don't even watch sports much anymore. Just the Skins games, some you know they're going to be great games, and of course the Super Bowl. Baseball I just watch the playoffs and World Series IF the Cards are in it. And whatever my grandson happens to be in at different times of the year.

See ya'll!!!

Lol, Isaac. I just posted that so you would like it  Point, set, match.
Ah touche clever wood worker!
HA! That's awesome!
Good morning, all. Nice catching up, and just a couple of comments.

1. Bovi, I do hope Chase is OK.

2. Wharf, I'm with you. I kept mine too. Screw that (stuff)!

3. Kat, (cough) umm - yeah. What DOES go on in that "head" of yours? ;-)

4. J5, NOW you've got my attention. My draft is Thursday, and I've got two weekly polls to pick. No more practice, it's REAL. Adrenaline about to spike.

5. Isaac, I owe you a "circle-back" email and have NOT forgotten about it. I promise to bring you up to speed this week.

6. Fran, please keep the coffee coming, although this morning's message was definitely nice to look at.

Happy Tuesday, all. Let the good times roll. Please. :)
Happy Thursday buddy! Haha it's not an obligation! I mean we have small chats all the time :) Hope your doing good DP
I'm quoting someone else here, so my previous facts very well may not be factual.

"There will be a memorial service for Drew A. Gliem on Saturday 8/30 12PM to 3PM @ Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home 100 Elton Adelphia Rd. Freehold, NJ 07728
If you are not aware Drew A. Gliem, a dear friend, has passed away this morning. Drew has been in the hospital since late April of this year and has passed away from respiratory complications. There will be a one day celebration of life service @ Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home on Saturday. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of sending flowers, Drew’s wife Angie would ask that you donate to CASAA. Seeing as Drew is one of the founding members of CASAA it would be a valued final tribute.
Please share this.
I will miss you, it was a honor to be your friend."

Isaac? Love to hear from you.
Definitely sucks and bummed out.
Not that may liked him so much but we clicked well through out the years. At vape meets we would make it a point to sit down together, hang out and just talk about life. He was always quick to help out and that concept went both ways. We lost a good guy this week. He was strong in business and a heart encased in gold.

Morning Ikenville :)
Good afternoon Miss D :)
I hope you are having a beautiful day!

The weather is cooler, and that makes it a beautiful day! Had to wear the levis today since I was dispatched to Walmart for new wiper blades for Katie's car.

That's where I ordered my Levis from. Good deal.
I was working on my AC yesterday. Isn't it funny I go through the whole summer with my AC needing a bit more freon. Then as soon as I put it in the weather cools down.
Who said I was dumb? Give that man a cigar.

I came up from my hole because, well, primarily because...

ISAAC'S BACK! YAY for in-stock notifications!!!! I'm serious, Isaac - I'm giving your faithful 48 hours. That's it. After that, the rest of those mega slots WILL disappear. I'm good with stock but you can NEVER have too many.

And Nicklee - sorry I missed your "pool" post. I'm on it. :)

Hope everyone's doing well. Stick working on me-own-dayum-self, but it's coming along. Isaac lifted my spirits a bit, so this was the only place I could think of to come. See y'all soon!

Haha DP, They started selling out as I was making the newsletter!
Don't waste time! lol I just have to put the disclaimer up because it could be hit or miss. But really it doesn't take too many people to tell me of a bad expereince before I take them all down. I still vape them, some need a little love with a needle (ha KK) but they work just fine. There's too many to sit on and yeah $200 in the business and personal bank accounts combined isn't working out anymore.
