I hear you J...I smoked for 34 years before converting. Thank goodness for vaping because I could NOT have quit otherwise. I get to keep my habit...my ritual...and bonus is I can bling it all up to absolute gorgeousness!!

My first cigarette was smoked at age 6. by the time I was 10 I was getting whippins for smoking.

And J, five years? Freaking awesome. You probably don't even celebrate it anymore, do you? And you really started THAT early? I was bad but you TOPPLED me.

I lost one of my kids back to smoking. He went 8 months vaping. We all hammered him this weekend and he may now be inheriting one of spare iSticks. I was holding them for two of the other kids, since I KNOW they're going to break down, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

EIGHT months (smh). He's the only smoker in a family of converted vapers. Very sad.

It takes awhile for some of us DP. Sorry he reverted, but there is still hope! Once I started vaping, I never walked away from vaping...but it did take me several more years to completely kick the ciggs for good. I'm still a good way from being cigg free for a year, but I'm happily creeping up on 5 months!

I know he'll come back. He had a good reason, but now that's passed. So the family pressure will bring him back, plus he WANTS to come back. I almost handed him the iStick on Saturday, but I'm waiting for him to ask me for it. He will.

If I knew that boy any better I would BE that boy. We're close (very).

I got one lady started on ecigs and her family said it was a miracle. She smoked 2 to 3 packs a day for a very long time but she hasn'y touched another one since starting.
This other friend will vape as long as I supply her a PV and juice. She will spend 8 or 10 bucks a pack for stinkies but won't buy juice. My son and his mom are the same.

Yup DP my dad would get up and go out to the woods to cut firewood. He got up walked by the fireplace and tossed a full, lit, Chesterfield on the hearth and as soon as the door closed I had that Chesterfield in my mouth. I wasn't smoking all day every day but that's when I puffed my first stinky. A pack of stinkies was a dime back then

I gotta go take care of some real life stuff. See Yall when I return.

We used to get them for a quarter from a machine at the I-95 rest area behind my house. Dumb little schmucks, us.

First time my Mom caught me snitching from her pack she sat me down with a pack and told me to smoke 'em all. I barfed after the 2nd one, I was 10. I started smoking full time at 14. You'd think I'd have lerned my lesson from Mom, but peer pressure and hard headed kids are pretty strong
