I was so looking forward to getting a tool like the one above , but wasn'nt prepared to pay $20 for the postage, and here is oz there was only one seller on ebay, with a payment option i wasnt comfortable with. So i dug deep in the garage an came up with this.
I just made use of the hole( not sure what was there before? Maybe a spring) and screwed a nail in nice and tight. And there you have it , my carto hole puncher.

Yes, because it is what I use to punch my carto's. All you do after you mark your carto and put it under the point in the hole punch is to slowly turn the the top and listen carefully. Turn slow until you hear a pop and then you are done.

how do you keep the saddle valve from attempting to punch the hole on the side and not on top? maybe i got a defective unit??
The saddle valve will only punch a hole where the spike comes out of the center piece. As long as the spike is lined up with the mark you
Made on your carto, that is where the hole will be punched.
You are clamping the carto in the two halves of the valve? Shouldn't be any way for the carto to move, and the needle goes right down the middle. If it doesn't, yep, it's defective.
Ya, I just did too but earlier I couldn't get it to go. It just kept saying couldn't find. Oh well I was hoping.

tybin i was having that problem too ... at first. but then i realized the needle was not in the "up" position (away from the carto and not touching) when i was setting it up. once i got that away from the carto and then tightened the clamp down very tight on the carto it has worked perfectly since then. i don't know if this will help you, but hopefully it will.
Hey guys! Ok, So we had obtained the EPP codes from these incompetent jack #$es by threatening. We ran the actual process to switch the registrar and hosting privileges to take IKV as far away as possible from all the mishaps of past events. I just got word that the test failed because Justhost Never unlocked it!!!
I have prepped the contest for a great weekend activity so we'll some fun while we can. For those in need I'm here and am trying to help everyone out. If you don't receive a reply in the same day, trust me, there is a reason and there is a line
All emails are being responded to in order as received and I'm doing what i can to fulfill needs. I'm sorry for lacking in the PM area, it is extremely daunting. No matter how many times I reply the list grows consistently and to keep going back for info then back out makes the process extremely slow.
Really guys, I am so sorry for these constant arrays of unfortunate occurrences. Thank you guys so much for keeping IKV breathing. I felt that I said this before at one point atleast 1,000 times. IKV as a body and you guys are the heart that keeps circulation and love beating. I wish so hard to make it up to you guys but the debt is so immeasurable to the point that the shock factor is still in effect. 68 pages on this thread alone means something and so does the rest of the threads that keep beating. From myself as a pure entity I thank you so much and do wish to make it all up to you guys other than just being back in full effect. It is not justified and it will be made up. To have appreciation to showing it is on two different plains and you know ,like you guys,I'm a man of action.
I do with my heart love you guys very much and for once in a great while the word love cannot truly justify my feelings and appreciation for you.
