Bare in mind , the person that did his last site would not let him have access to anything. He couldnt even change a spelling error. I would assume this also means he does not have a backup.
I think Its not so much the database thats a problem. He needs to move to Ikenvape[dot]com . He cant do that. Without it the cart cannot work.

Well I know nothing of the workings of such things and Im sure he is doing all he can after all it is how he makes his income. If its close to a solution then waiting til then is the best option I would think. If not...as mentioned by someone else he could take orders via email or PMs and Paypal invoices...a PITA I know but an option none the less. I certainly won't mention another vendor name here but he has a site listing his products (no cart available) who works that way and Isaac could do that for income till all the other stuff is sorted out....just a thought. 
I am all for him starting from scratch, won't be any different for us than setting up at a new vendors site. At the same time Ikenvape can have full access to what he is doing to his site and not have the hassles like before, at this point I see it as a win win situation.
With some hard work and some geeky help he could have the site back up Monday morning.

I didn't mean to come off harshly towards Isaac - I am frustrated FOR him not with him, lol.
I own and run several websites and I do everything myself. Although I'm no expert, I have been through all of this many times. Building sites from scratch, changing nameservers, backing up and restoring databases, etc. I don't understand why he doesn't have the permissions to do what he needs to do.
If the host is truly "blocking" him from doing what he needs to do then he should take legal action(better to file a dispute with ICANN), however, that could take forever - he may need to buy a new domain, and obviously change the domain with the payment processor, and get up and running until he can sort that out.
The site has been rebuilt from scratch. The database has been rebuilt. It's all ready to go. It's the DOMAIN NAME that has been locked out (stolen). His options, when he's back on his feet, are legal action, different domain name, or baksheesh. (All are suckey options.)
(My first concern is him getting back on his feet, or rather his hips.)

As I recall (hard to do most of the time) he also owns icanvape dot com, but I think that was just a redirect? and is part of the old site.
Yeah, he saw he owned that last time did a "whois" search on his domain - but he is likely to have the same problem with his old domain registrar. If they have been jerking him around for weeks he may need to just buy a new domain(ikv2 or ikvstore or whatever) until this is sorted out to get some cash flow going . Especially if he is going with GoDaddy for hosting. They are a good domain registrar, although seriously annoying how much crap they try to sell you, lol. I use them as the domain registrar for most of my domains, although I do not use them for hosting.

Hey Unsure, I wasnt gonna ask in the IKV forum but what site is that you were referring to? At the present time, the only way I can buy supplies is through Paypal so I'm always looking for new vendors who do Paypal.

The website stuff is mostly just part of the bazzillion "side projects" I have going on.
I can tell from your demeanor that you would be a great salesperson, sales is more about knowing people than knowing the minutia.
