Every time I log into ECF, I'm amazed at how active the general and new member forums are, and yet none of the threads on the first page mentions CASAA. I'm posting this in an attempt to change that.

ECF has over 155,000 members, well over 25,000 are 'active members.'
CASAA.org, on the other hand, has a little over 6800 members.

18,200 ECF active members aren't members of CASAA? Why not? If less than half of that 18,200 joined CASAA, their membership would instantly double!

Arguing the finer points of 'Vamo vs. Provari' or the advantages of steeping your liquid with the cap off isn't going to mean much if CASAA loses the fight to keep government officials from regulating our devices and/or eliquid.

Join CASAA.org. It's free, it only takes a minute and I promise it won't hurt...and you might even do something for the cause.

{{leaps from soapbox}} :)

CASAA has even have less members in it's Facebook group than some e-cig reviewers. People need to wake up and smell the ejuice... If they don't get active they will be outside in the rain enjoying the acrid smell of their "fellow" smokers... Or even worse, not enjoying their favorite flavors unless they are being purchased from illicit backroom labs or home kitchens (I can see the new A&E hit now Breaking Juice). :vapor:

Agreed.... ECF and CASAA go hand in hand. I know there is a lot of good work that happens between ECF, CASSA, and all of their members, but it needs to be publicized more. ECF and CASSA need to make their mutual support more "in your face". I personally would like it if ECF had a special banner just for CASSA members. I hate to admit it, but I am guilty of not advertising my support for CASSA enough. I am a member, but I've been too lax to add it to my signature on ECF.

Thank you, Snowdog. I only just learned how to edit my signature block about 5 minutes ago. I haven't gotten to the how to paste links page yet! :)

No problem The Dingo.

I would like to add that CASAA does not hound their members for donations like some organizations do. Perhaps that assumption is what keeps some folks from joining. And as The Dingo mentioned, membership is absolutely free of charge. CASAA accepts donations but members are never under any obligation to donate.

Just wanted to clarify that.

This should make it easier for those who are interested.

Become a CASAA Member

To make the CASAA banner clickable, just copy the following code and replace whatever you currently have in your signature block with it.

Code:

I wanted to join immediately when I found out about it. Certainly a worthy cause. Only problem was we owed several thousand in hospital bills that we just got paid off. It’s almost a trivial amount to join but not everyone has something to spare and there are also those that just don’t care, or won’t until it’s taken away from them. I’ll be joining in the next couple of days, just as soon as our bank account recovers.

Anyone got a link to the CASAA printable literature? I looked around and couldn't find it...
CASAA Printable Material

For the life of me, I don't understand why every vaper is not a CASAA member.
CASAA is not just some random organization, CASAA is us, and they are the only us we have.
