What's up to my ECF fam. I'm reaching out for something specific. Bear with me as I feel like I should give a little background. I have been vaping for well over 8 years now but in the last 3 years or so I haven't been keeping up with the latest and greatest. Like a lot of us who have been at this a while I started on the cig a likes then moved to ego style. After that I was a dedicated cloud chaser for a couple years. During that time I started mixing and building my own coils and juices. I have a full 5 shelf cd rack full of flavors chasing that magical mix. Iv gone from full on flavors to vaping unflavored juice most of the time. When my wife was pregnant with my only daughter (now 6) the smell of mostly all of my flavored liquid would make her so sick, so I started vaping unflavored and really startedl to like it. After watching my oldest son (now the age of 9) mimic me blowing a huge cloud I took a step back and evaluated my vaping style.
I love vaping and that will probably never change but it isn't about making a spectical of it. Back to the basics I went and started vaping low powered again. Iv been using pod mods for the last couple years 3 sourin airs in constant rotation. Just recently picked up a innokin scepter and uwell caliburn g. Both are pretty solid but I lean toward the caliburn more as I like the tight draw and the flavor on those coils is awesome. Now that I have a little bit of back story here is what I'm looking for. I would love it if you all could point me in the direction of some good, solid, small single 18650 mods. I like them small but most of the devices I own right now have internal batts or they are double 18650 mods that are pretty bulky. I want something that has a good chip but not really big in the hand. I figure a couple single batt mods and a couple good MTL rebuildable tanks or drippers will come in handy when stupid illinois decides to ban something else. All suggestions are welcomed. Thanks in advanced

Single 21700 mods have their charms @Jayrell.

Asmodus Almighty, Vaporesso Armour Pro, Vandy Vape Jackaroo or SXmini SL Class for a normal regulated mod.

A Squonk mod may be an idea as well, as that allows for the use of RDA's and some RDTA's without the need to drip. It's one of the more useful ways to vape, because the RBA's are of an easier type to loose.

I've been eyeing up Cuthlhu Mods Mulan MTL RDTA, as they do some good work. But it's a nice simple old school MTL RDTA that anyone can get some sort of vape out of.

LOL! Sorry about that, Jayrell! I'm happy to post pics if there's anything you'd like to see, but you will have to do the searching yourself! :D

I walk everywhere I go, and have no problem with at least a topside and pulse v2 on me in a couple of pockets. Never an issue.
No need to request, lighter for size. Both have great hand feel, I'm partial to the topside, but the pulse is super light, and water resistant.

Vandyvape has some good mods out if you like to squonk at variable wattage or temp control, and their Pulse X atomizer pulls excess liquid back into the tube and down into your bottle so I've never had a problem pocketing it. Such a good mod. The Innokin Kroma, Asmodus Colossal, LostVape Gemini are all good options for a smaller body single 18650 mod. The Gemini can also utilize LostVape pods, in addition to any 510 connection tank, rba/rta.

The squonks are nice, but that pulse x rda doesn't look mtl friendly lol I like a decently tight draw i prefer concentrated vapor with less air on the pull. I have a few good rda's but they are all geared toward low ohm clouds and some are really good on flavor (I won't get rid of them lol sometimes I build em and blow a cloud or two late at night) but I would like to stick with a few good MTL setups where I won't have to rely on a crappy internal batt or not being able to buy replaceable coils. You all have given me quite a few to look at... Keep em come let the research games begin on my part searching for good deals on devices lol

Well you're in luck @Jayrell, there's been a resurgence in MTL. So there's a fair few RBA's to choose from now.

One which I keep on mulling over is the Atmizoo Creek RDA, can do MTL or restricted DTL and nobody has anything negative to say about them. But they're geared more towards flavour over vapour, and if it's anywhere near their Tripod RTA they're of definite interest.

But that Mulan RDTA is Squonk ready as well, so reservoir runs low. Give it a squeeze to refill, but be careful as some RDTA's don't Squonk.

Pulse X isn't a MTL but you can buy the Pulse mod without the RDA & throw a MTL on there, or vape the Pulse X RDA as a severely restricted DTL by blocking all but 1 hole on each side. I do prefer single coil decks for MTL though & I would def recommend that's what you go with, a single coil deck, if you're looking for an ideal MTL vape!

I love this little guy so much I bought another one
DotAIO by DotMod plus the rebuild-able DotShell by Atmizone. Fantastic flavor, easy to build, and a super compact device. The DotShell is one of the few devices that work equally well at MTL or DL. The only smaller single 18650 device I own is my Dicodes Dani Mini! (but not after you stick a tank on top)
