Matthew, you can buy an entire rebuild kit for $23 on the site.....and you wouldn't need that for a long, long time....if ever, so it's not much. Really, things just don't go wrong with them. They're all mechanical, so no wires and switches and LCD panels to go wrong. They're not fragile so you don't have to baby them. They're made of airplane aluminum so you can't "break" them. The most vulnerable part would be the atomizer....and the rebuildable attys he sells are very hearty.

Welcome Matthew Bye There is always room for improvement and I do listen to my customers . I dont think there is any product that is perfect for everyone . I love guitars one of the greatest guitars ever made the less Paul for example. I would make changes. I love everything about them except one thing . There built for small people . I take no offense to folks opinions

I think it is actually quite iconic and artful.

I always felt that way about the Morton salt Girl logo, you know, her standing under that umbrella and it's been perfect for 50+ years.

I hope Robert (listen up!) thinks to bury one, in one of those time capsules. I'm serious. I think it would stand the test of time if somebody found it decades from now......even as an art piece.

Yet I *do* have one improvement and I owuldn't mind a squonk hole in the front narrow part of the mod, due to how I hold it. I press the firing button with my thumb, so my index finger and middle finger could give the bottle a squeeze. The only other way I hold the reo is using my index finger on the firing pin, in which case my 4th finger would press the bottle?

I was noticing yesterday, it DOES make a difference if you are holding left or right handed.......when holding in right hand the DOOR is toward us. If you have a pretty door it is not facing outward to other people. :)

Well, I am a lefty, so if I hold in my left hand, door faces outward, away from me. Body is towards me. :)

Does anyone here hold in left hand??? That way "shows off the door color" to the "audience" :)

Heres a mock-up I did along time ago that has the side window. The side button was tried on the original VVG but bad switches caused problems. I put the Reo next to the Zippo lighter as great products with many of the same time tested qualities.

Well, I think that sounds like a shot at old Les Paul and Gibson ! :glare:
Maybe you shouldn't have ordered the mini!
I'll trade ya a Stratocaster for it just to help ya out?
Oh, it's a full size !

;)

Seriously your a class act, your patience, help, and response to owners "and future owners" makes me proud to be a member of the REO family!

So what color are you buying Matt, no need to be shy, pull the trigger and watch your vaping world go to 11.
I hemmed and hawed a bunch before taking the plunge, but i did it in the lurker format.* Also PM's work well here too.
I couldn't hold the next purchase responsible for the last bad one or I'd never be so sqonkin happy with what's in my hand. Just wait and buy one on the classies when it comes up. It's still a 100bucks but I'll buy it off of ya if you really don't like it. It's not about exclusiveness. It's about really cool people wanting to share with other vaper's. your gonna look back at this and laugh with us, cause it really is that tough, reliable, fun, different, and exciting of a mod. Smokes cost alot, so relax and enjoy this new and so much more fulfilling thing called the e-cigarette, and if your patient you can do it REOstyle for the price of 2 cartons of $h!ttie cigarettes :) Take care brother.

*see also score card for lurkers, trolls, and posters.
While lurking didn't win any points on the score card, it did get me straight information without having to waste effort in defending my misguided, paranoid, self-centered position.
If indeed you are a troll I commend you for your dedication to trolldom and trolls everywhere, because your brethren will never see your efforts here on this subforum. Next time try yahoo.answers.com

Why not keep the REO where you kept your smokes? Did you shove those in your front pocket and push things around with you hips? I know the paper box I used to buy mine in said "crush proof" but it really wasn't. Maybe I should have tried a different brand.

yeah i used to keep my lighter and pack in my front pocket and more oten then not had a flat box and 3 or so broken or cracked cigs.

Good luck, both the two Reo's I would've bought on the classies today sold in ten minutes flat! There's a few others on there but I'm biding my time at this point hoping a more to my liking color will come along. As for new I paid $205 shipped for a Grand, a RM2 atty, a few extra bottles, the button cover and a few other nick nacks. You can survive without the Reomizer but if you can swing the extra for it it's well worth it. It's by far the easiest to setup RDA I've had. Ton's of room to work on coils unlike most others. I don't see any reason for the VV although some might disagree it's not needed.

Edit: Justice had I got my verified status faster I'd have been all over that yellow one! But those are all sold pending lol

There are two points I've noticed as a newcomer to this forum. First of all, I've never seen the person who's invented an item (Rob) be so intimately involved with his customers. That makes the customer base almost direct beta testers, and the turnaround time wrt changes is minimal. Secondly, the fact that there have been so few changes to the basic concept testifies to the validity of the design.

When so many people are so satisfied with a design, then chances are it's a classic. We're talking VW Beetle, Apple Mac, Fender Stratocaster territory here. It's an Icon.

I work Industrial Maintenance and my mods lead a rough life. I carry my Reo's in my shirt pocket but they get plenty of abuse there. Either being smashed up against me or falling out and hitting concrete, sometimes from quite a distance. The only breaks I've had so far are drip tips. I use sacrificial derlin tips, hoping they break before putting too much stress on the atty or 510 connection. The weak link in the whole system is the 510 connection. I prefer the Cyclone attys slightly over the RM2's and its mainly because they are made of SS rather than plated brass. Just a little more rugged at the thin connector. I'm pretty sure Rob is working on a hybrid type Reo with the RBA built in, doing away with the 510. This is music to my ears and I can't wait for them to be available.
