Part of the resin for these items is the price. I found them on sale at NWVapes.com. The e-pipe is $29.99 for the kit, the istick 20 is $25.99, and the Davide BCD are $9.99 each. The coils can either be Kanger or Aspire, but are roughly $2 each.

My total bill will be around $85 and that qualifies for free shipping. From all the sites I've searched, that can't be beat. As a self-employed artisan broom maker, price is an issue :)

Another note... I live in a very rural area, and so there are no vape shops for me to visit for advice. It's you guys and YouTube...

Price is always a good reason. I'm going to have to check out this Davide BCD...never heard of it before you mentioned it. Sounds like a winner.

Just want to throw this out there: If you're concerned about price and do not want to rebuild, just remember that you'll be shelling out the coin for new coils. That cost can add up pretty quickly. It was the main reason why I started building my own.

Good luck with your decision. :thumb:

since you're looking at VapeNW, did you see these? I've used the plastic ones and I love them and I think they're pretty similar to the davide. Plus the tank is better protected if you drop it. I mostly am using the nautilus now, but I was to get a few of these.

Although some seem to suggest never stepping foot in a B&M, I say at least check it out. I am 100+ miles to the nearest decent shops and seldom get there, but when I do, I can check out their inventory/specials, taste their juice, and always pick up a new tidbit if information/advice about anything going on with vaping. If you find one or two you are comfortable with, give them your name and let them know your situation. After that, they are always just a phone call away for emergency advice or orders.

You can never have too many vape buddies. :vapor:

Edit: I certainly didn't want to imply advice and/or solutions are not available here!

I understand if you wanted a mech because of it's form factor. I resisted as long as I could before I got into a box mod because I found they were too big and didn't have the feel of a cigarette.

If you don't mind them, definitely spend the extra $10 and get the 30w iStick over the 20w. Definitely worth the extra money to not have to deal with the flaws of the first generation.

If you're vaping on the porch and don't plan on pocketing it that much for on the go, the MVP3 will probably be a solidly built device.

Jax is a wise man. Building's not that hard, is interesting, can be enjoyable, and that money saved really adds up. Start bringing the price of your juice down as well and the mod/RTA/RDA budget starts changing leagues. Perhaps consider a lemo or erlP for a budget first rta???

When I was looking for pre-made stuff it annoyed me that every thread I opened where someone was asking for something similar, people kept saying "rebuild,"

Some people just don't want to do that. Most of my friends don't, and it took me a long time to come around. But I decided to do so on my own.

The OP said they were 70 years old, so they've probably made the decision not to rebuild because they don't want to fiddle with things. No offense to the OP, but they might have arthritis issues as they get older so doing all this stuff with their hands might aggravate them.

They probably just want something simple to keep them off the cancer sticks. That's what most e-cig users are looking for. It takes me about 15-20 minutes to rebuild my Kayfun, and although the flavor and vapor is significantly better, sometimes I think about just going back to premades to save the hassle.

I would even consider doing that if manufacturers made coils with better wicking material in the future.

I agree. I keep a ProTank 3 with spare coils as an emergency backup/travel atty solution.

hmm.. for me when I started out like 3 months ago, I bought a mechanical mod with a Taifun GT.. at first it was ok, am enjoying vaping but then what gets to me is that when the batteries are draining, my vape becomes not so enjoyable. I have to constantly change and charge batteries. That is when i started to research and try out the variable box mods.. Less of a hassle in terms of changing batteries, I just have to plug it in to recharge like a mobile phone and it gives me a consistent output power all the time even when the battery is 30%..

For an atty, I would recommend the Atlantis.. I know you say your not into sub-ohms and cloud chasing but its easy to use, easy to change coils, flavour is great plus you get clouds if you want to (just change to the biggest air hole setting).

Consider a variable box mod like the Cloupor Mini which is 30watts..

I just ordered an istick 30 with the new matching eleaf GS Air 2.5 ml bdc tank and 5 pack of coils for $49.48 to the door.

Still use both a Nautilus and Nautilus mini. The GS Air iz said to vape well between 15-20 watts, something the Nauti's won't.

My next purchase will likely be the new Subtank mini, which opens the door to both sub ohm vaping as well as a rebuilding deck.

New kit has arrived. Very happy.

I've read, and watched, a lot of good and bad about the Kamry k1000 e-pipe. However, right out the gate, it's working great.

The iStick 20, however, is a charmer.

Also really happy with the Davide BCD clearos. I like the looks, and get better hits than I have ever had...
