I'm still scared.

Me too (meaning, not scared but keeping the old stale cigs), my remaining analogs are still exactly where they were on the day my ecig arrived. For me, it's deliberate. As long as they're there, then I'm choosing not to smoke them. It's not that I have nothing else. If they were gone, then that wouldn't be the case so literally. It's a small thing, but I enjoy it. They're in the same drawer as my chargers, so every time I charge a battery, I'm deliberately ignoring them even though I usually don't even consciously think about it. (When I do notice it, that they're still there, I half-smile to myself and then they're forgotten again in the next second.) It's an open half-pack plus a half-carton. I don't mind leaving them there permanently. I have no intention of ever throwing them out or moving them.

As a melodramatic metaphor, I feel like I slew a dragon and let it lie where it fell. That's my "trophy" for it.

I quit analogs after my first week on my 510. I had one pack left and I gave it away to a friend of mine (who I have since gotten onto e-cigs). That last smoke just tasted so nasty to me already (even though I had still been smoking while vaping) that I haven't looked back. I do still have a ton of lighters around the house and it does feel weird not dropping one of those in my pocket when I go out.

DH and I have been vaping for over a month now. We had a few partial packs in the vehicles. Every once in a while, after spending way too much time doing paperwork, I'll go out and sit by the pool with a glass of wine and a couple of analogs. That's not every day though. A couple of weeks ago I stopped "needing" one with my morning coffee. The other day DH had one left in his man-cave that I smoked by the pool. After diner, as he was settling in he found that it was not there. I told him I would go get one from the car and he said, "Don't bother". Yea. I've always envied people who can socially smoke on occasion and not keep smoking. I'm now in that category but one or two is enough. It's nice to not have to have analogs after meals, drinking, and with morning coffee. The biggie was sitting at the computer working or making phone calls, and driving, chain smoking the whole time. I don't need analogs now for those activities.
I smoked for 40 years and was at 2.5-3 packs of American Spirits Organic per day, DH 2 pack a day, when we started vaping. DH smoked for over 50 years. We haven't purchased any analogs in 6 weeks. We were spending about $300 per week for analogs. I've spent a few hundred dollars for PVs, batteries, juices, and accessories but way less than we would have spent on analogs.
We both feel so much better.

After 10 weeks I still have half a carton vacuum sealed and in the freezer. It took me a month to throw away the opened pack that I had started the day my eGo kit arrived.

I don't crave analogs at all, but just couldn't let go of the unopened packs, LOL.

Another reason I haven't trashed them is that I forget they are there.

When I finally received my pv I had exactly 33 cigs left (1 unopened pack + 13 left in an open pack).

33 is my favorite #. lol

I keep them in my freezer. Don't know why exactly, but I do. It's a security thing I'm sure. I smoked 30+ years and they are a big part of who I was/am.

Keep them, throw them out...the choice is yours.

Still have some rolling tobacco and papers around, but have not had any inclination to use them (last cig on April 23.......the day my eGo arrived). The ONLY thing I miss about not smoking is my Zippo lighter. I just loved the feel of it in my hand, and the sound of it opening and closing. Now, my Phidias Woodimus Feedimus has taken its place. It feels great in my hand, but it doesn't make any noise. :D

I still have an unopened pack in my car. I saw it the other day when i was putting something in my glove box. It's about 10 months old now, and it looked foreign sitting there. "hey, what..?, oh, right."

I kept it anyway. I like having the choice, even though I don't miss combustible ciggs at all.
