then I'll do the first build.

Can't see the ohm meter. It was basically at .1Ω. It occasionally read .2Ω and a little bit of 0.0Ω

So, it's meant to be a kind of hybrid. The 510 threads are in the top plate . . . no 510 connector, per se. The little black thing has silver contacts in it. The longer one can be adjusted to contact the atty after the atty is seated. The shorter silver screw (battery 2) can be adjusted to match resulting length on the first. I didn't mean for this to be a mod where you put 7 different atties on it every day; but still, assembly is quick if that's how you roll. The switch is a solid silver rod and the hole in the bottom cap is lined with 26 gauge silver. The springs are in direct contact with the bottom plate, and they're the silver coated beryllium copper springs.

I could use springs on this one because the switch is lateral, so I didn't have to fight magnets vs springs AND button press. So, no battery rattle on this one. Thing is beautiful to hold, and a real pleasure to vape. I really, really wish I could hand it to y'all and say, "here, have a toot on this". ;)

The Dibi auction is closing in 1 day and 18 hours time! Current bid is Four Hundred Pounds! Nice donation to the doggies! :)

Charity Auction Dibi Squonker or Sumpin | eBay

That puppy is going to go a whole lot higher in the last hour. I'm guessing well over 600 quid*.

* "quids" are quaint carryovers from the 19th century. They're what folks used before real money was invented and then debased by Nixon and the Federal Reserve.

This was a very special Rosewood Burl that a frog friend of mine gave me a while back. I've been waiting for the opportunity to put it to good use. I'm super happy I took the chance on this with this precious/giftie material. I was rather nervous about risking it on a prototype: but last time I played it safe, and I'm still vaping a shop-scrap-sumpin' . . . . . .

(for now .. . . ;) )
