i can see how such a difficult and twisty, treacherous piece of road like that would require a skilled driver to negotiate. Not for the narcoleptic.

T
I've heard where it snows up there sometimes, and then ice n' stuff. That's like if you took that Texas dryhotness, and made it wet like the English rain . .. but then you make it white and cold, and slippery betimes. It's this whole other thing.

anyway, not everyone can be raised in an old oilcan at the end of a dirt road.

Hey everybody,

Recently got lucky enough to be in Seattle and go visit Peter to pick up my mod. I guess all of you have taking to calling it the Lil Pinch. But I agree with X, should be Lil' Punch, this thing hits like a wee freight train. Getting to set up the mod with Peter was amazing, he had all the specifics to point out, and its really simple. Not gonna lie, glad I'm getting a chance to test out the new mod because its very simple. I love the button, in two days haven't had a single pant pocket fire, its got a similar amount of throw to any other mod you've hit, and its pretty. So much concern about the button was completely unnecessary. This is a gorgeous mod that I have got non stop compliments about for the last few days. It fits well in my mitts, you can see in the pics that I've got them big man hands. Very happy with the mod and very glad I got to meet the maker in his own habitat, (it most certainly is a habitat), with a luscious stack of stabilized blocks in the middle of the room.

The wood is Cocobolo. Enjoy

^ Sweet! I have this fuzzy recollection of having seen Cocobolo like that once before, in a nutcase. ;)

Hah! Arnold decided to defer on his turn as he wouldn't be able to pick up his mod at home until October. This was just as I was already getting started on this batch. I went ahead and used the Coco anyway on spec (from your big block, as we discussed, Rossum), and Sasquatch was next up on the list, and took a liking to it.

It was great meeting you, and hangin' out a while, Joe. Glad the mod found it's way into such a good-natured person's capable hands. I hope it serves you well.

thanks, man!

Outstanding! That is a real looker for sure.

Thanks again Pete! One of my buddies is an engineer and to say he geeked out would be an understatement. He loves the design, and it's simplicity. Exact words might have been, "slick as f%^k."

You do good work brother. I really likes the cocobolo and the brass derringer, is pretty. That derringer was a little tricky.

The family is growing:
IMG_1051.JPG

Left to right - Canary Beta [HASHTAG]#007[/HASHTAG] - Oregon Maple Burl - Oregon Maple Burl with Silver Plate - Back Maple Burl [HASHTAG]#007[/HASHTAG] li'll pinch.

The Canary from the first beta run and the Black Maple Burl both turned out to be [HASHTAG]#007[/HASHTAG] in creation order of their respective product lines.

I often miss stuff here so sorry to ask....li'll pinch have the same size vitals as the Dibi (bottle & battery)?

Yes, but the bottle goes cap-less and snap-in on the li'll pinch and the battery should be positive end up for safety reasons.

unsure
