i also download the eps of my favorite shows even when i DO have my directv.. i dont like the overpriced overbloated commercial dvd sets for tv shows.. i like with just my eps and thats it.. so i make my own.. 8 eps per disk.. usually 3 disks per season
all of farscape.. house.. csi LV.. sarah connor.. galactica.. so on..

a few years ago i was a server and eventually led a "revolution" against a distro group called extreme-moviez... they used to do kvcd format conversions then serve em up on irc.. but thier chat channel protocal was HORRID.. so i made a chat channel for the ones who got banned from ex's chat.. was always amazing how easily a SERVER could get banned from chatting yet still serve the files for them..
btw.. $50-$100?.. try again... usually they sell seasons in 3 sets.. each set running $80.. sometimes more if they think they can get it.. utterly ridiculous

the REAL irony... here i was forming my own private chat channel.. chock FULL of servers from ex whom they'd banned... inviting and helping the nubs who asked questions and nobody else had the patience to help them..
and i was the LAST one of us they ever banned... they even threatened a couple times.. when they did.. i told em FU.. changed my nick to take thier EX tag off and left the channel.. they came into my channel and begged me to come back.. go figure..
i even had at least 5 users in my channel as nubs.. i gave them OP status.. and eventually EX gave them ops on the strength of knowing i taught them well LOL
