Last time I met a greek man, he was old enough to be my father, lived on Crete. I sat next to him SMOKING (1996) on a plane from Johannesburg to Athens. He told me to stop by Crete anytime and I was welcome to stay at his house. LOL I sat very bored for 7 hours in that Athens Airport! LOL I couldn't understand a word anyone said, then I caught the next plane to Los Angeles.
