so question What is the Best and fastest way to clean a tank Cartomizer to get as much as the old flavor out as possible? please help i would be good to go if i can get this tank cartomizer cleaned out enough to vape the apple liquid without it tasting like crap that was in the tank before.

There is no real way to clean out a cartomizer with satisfactory results. Trying to may render it completely useless. Sorry.

I feel for ya! When this kind of stuff happens to me, I usually look for a reason and usually find there's something to learn from it. In this case, I would buy some comparatively high strength, plain, nic base and some plain VG/PG and have it in the fridge to fall back on. When buying nic unflavored its not as expensive and you can get VG at Walmart for about $3.80 for a big bottle. Plain nic in VG tastes way better than a bad juice and some people prefer it over any flavored juice.. a tad sweet.

Go to youtube. P Busardo has a good vid on cleaning them. I used to do it and there's no guarantee how well they'll turn out or even if you CAN get the taste out... depends on the juice. I think I would go to Walmart and buy a bottle of VG at the pharmacy and vape it in that carto until the taste diminishes enough. I don't know your nic requirements or how strong you juice is as far as dilution working for you but it will satisfy the hand-to-mouth need and inhaling. The Walmart VG is really thick so you can add a bit of distilled water to thin it if you need to.

You can boil the carto. How I did it was put it in a pot and bring to boil and let it boil for about five minutes. Do this two or three times. I will then blow as much of the water out as I can. I will then put it in the oven and bring it up to 275 turn the oven off and let it sit til it gets cool. This should get the old flavor out and be dry enough in about an hour or so. Not as good as a new carto but a lot better than its cuttent nasty state. Good luck. I forgot, fresh water with each boil.

well how are the wires on the inside of the cartomizer attached to the metal contacts on the 510 connection i would think they are soldered but if so the oven would risk melting the solder and making the connection to the 510 post useless. not sure how those wires are mounted inside i don't' want to melt the solder and be sol.

I forgot about that. I have one and it works pretty good. Around two dollars. Prob run air afterward to dry it a bit. I now use velvet cloud in my cartos and it lasts two weeks or more so I don't clean them any more. For my cloggers I use a iclear 30s. I can rinse , dry burn , rinse and let sit over night. I can get three or four uses out of them. I change them when the ohms go up over 2.5.

i am checking youtube now trying to find a vid where they are cleaning a tank style cartomizer and not a cartridge type.

The only difference is that you have holes punched in a carto that goes in a tank. You'll need to cover them up (duct tape?) and then give it a go!

This is what I used to do. The only problem I had was that half of them worked and the other half didn't work afterward. Good Luck....
