I am single dad half the time, every other week. Got my boy today at four, he really took it like a champ. Cried on the way home but I told him he has to be strong for my mom (Maggie was her best friend, my dad has to work on the road a lot and she really was her best friend) I had him give my mom the pics and she started to cry instantly (I expected as much), and then gave her a huge hug and told her not to worry, Maggie is still here. I am really tearing up while I write this. I am so proud of my little guy, can't say anything else about it....

Look at my avatar! :) That's Hershey when she was a baby.

Im very sorry to hear about the loss of your dog, im sure I will be going through the same thing in the coming months.......Back to the volt topic, my first set up was a bloog maxx fusion from jack at HV. It is a little pricey as well but it is the exact same as a volt. Its not bad as a starting point.

Agreed. Exact same thing, more money, different eliquids. :)

Yup Vapoor made it pretty clear they are the same. I'm more interested why you'll be going through the same thing? Maggie has been having seizures for about a month. Labs are so damn energetic they burn out their body's very fast, we had to have both her rear "knees" done, fat lumps and everything labs go though. What is happening with you're family member friend?

One last post then off to bed. You'll find many products out there that are rebranded- PVs, cartomizers, tanks, clearomizers. It just so ridiculous.
Take care everyone and have a good night.

I appreciate everything you've told me Vapoor, that's why I'm waiting for SI to email me back (realize they don't work weekends, I don't want to either lol) and why I'm going with your recommend (in a way, won't hold anything against ya ever!) Have a good night friend, hold your pups close for me :)

Our 10 year old lab/boxer x has a benign tumor in her belly along with hips that are going bad.$3500 dollars to do the surgery but if she were to make it,they think tumor will probably start to grow again.Shes doing well for the time being but the writing is on the wall.My 3 year old daughter has grown quite attached to her in the last year or so as well.

I clicked on this thread when I saw a fellow Canadian had posted, your posts about your Lab made my eyes water up a little. I have my little Mini Schnauzer sitting next to me. My little Dexter has been by my side for 8 months and although he's happy just to play with his Squirrel, get cookies and belly rubs, I don't know what I'd do without him. He's kept me sane throughout my battle with a pretty serious medical condition. He really has been my best friend, and when at times I felt like I had even nothing left of myself, I had him at my side. If only more human love could be as loyal!

As the poet Rudyard Kipling wrote,

THERE is sorrow enough in the natural way
From men and women to fill our day;
And when we are certain of sorrow in store,
Why do we always arrange for more?
Brothers and sisters, I bid you beware
Of giving your heart to a dog to tear.

The poem is called, however, The Power of a Dog. You can beware all you like, but the bond you will forge with your dog is so very real, powerful, and beautiful.

I'm so sorry to hear this brother! Truth is we are both very lucky, most labs (don't know about crosses) burn their body out by around eight years old. Maybe get a second opinion? Maggie had quite a few fat lumps that were not cancer, but while she was getting seizures developed many more lumps. This is what happened, very sad but heart warming as well. My parents were on vacation in Florida past few weeks, we sincerely believe she waited until she got home. She was so happy to see all of us. Yesterday me and my brother went ice fishing, and we went to my parents after for a snack and visit. She had just got done having two seizures before we got there, and was so happy to see us but acting totally out of character. Not listening, trying to grab food off the table and leaving through the front door (never done this before!) I knew then it would be the last time we seen her. This morning get the call from my parents, she started having seizures again and took her to emergency vet. By that time, she was brain damaged, no pupil dilation, response of any kind. She got the needle, better that way than to suffer. Wonder how my keyboard will hold up to this salty wetness.....

Mariss, this made me weep a little! Thank you, that is a beautiful poem! There is a definite reason dog is our best friend, it really is the same true unconditional love that only comes from them and a child. Thank you so much :)

Thanks! Not juice yet, ordered a couple sample packs of pre filled cartos to start off with and a pack of blank cartos for later. Can't wait to get it! On another note, I started a new thread in the supplier complaints forum, turns out smokefreeonline will not ship my dad his cartos (see first post this thread), so basically took him for 200 and told him they would ship here when he bought it. I'm really mad at them, I sent them an email today, they better do something or I am going to be all over them like flies on..... sad thing is it's a very nice unit, but totally worthless to him.

Hi, Shane. Smoke Free? Kiosk? Ouch! Never, never, never buy anything from a kiosk... It's all ripoff. Overpriced junk and no returns, horrible customer service. Wanna read about them?

Unless you have friends in the States who would be willing to order from them and ship those cartos to you, risking possible custom issues, your case is most likely lost.
