I've got a 6500 that says eGo C upgrade and an 1100 eGo-c twist, both running on Vivi 2.8 and they seem comparable as long as you put the C upgrade in Overmode.

They provide great vapor and easy refill ability but I am going off topic now I think.

Edit: If I turn my twist up to 4.4 or higher I get clouds like a dragon, but not much more in taste.

Thank you. Yes I am familiar with Ohm's law.
This is a fairly inexpensive hobby. I don't mind throwing out <$10.00 to try different cartomizers.

I'm trying to get rid of an old addiction not trying to create a new on. So far I don't plan on going much further with hardware. Just trying to find a suitable combination for now.

Very sensible approach. vaping can be as expensive or as inexpensive as you make it. I never chase the latest, the biggest, the shiniest new inventions. Never did. I do try new things, when they seem like they might offer a better vaping experience, but that's it.

Good luck and happy vaping! :)

Nice setup!

A 2.8 Ω atomizer on a 4.4 v battery will take you to almost 7 watts of power; that's pretty warm, at least for me. The flavor of your ejuice changes as the wattage changes. Coffees and tobaccos like it warm, delicate flavors, like fruit and some dessert vapes, shine on lower wattage. You'll figure it out. It takes time.

Good luck and congratulations!

The eGo is a good buy but have never heard of the Crystal V2. It's quite common to see products re-branded by some vendors- it makes it harder to do a price comparison IMO.

Is this the one you bought?

or this one?

The cartomizer description is: eGo Crystal Vision Style Cartomizer V2 (CE5) with Replaceable Atomizer Head 1.8ml
EGO-CRYSTAL-V2-TANK-2ML-3T.jpg
The base can be removed to allow the wick and coil (head) to be replaced. Comes with 2.4 ohm short wick atomizer coil head.

The battery is just a standard eGo 650 mAh Passthrough.

The delivery device you have is a rebuildable Stardust. The heads can be replaced and the option ohms-wise is 1.8, 2.4 and 2.8. 1.8 gives a warmer vape while 2.4 gives a cooler vape. There are also 2.8 heads but that's too high.
They come in short wick and long wick. Although these pics are non rebuildable Stardusts it illustrates the diff between long and short wicks:

Hi Ang-EC. Yes they are the older short wick version. All you'll have to do is occasionally "roll" the PV horizontally. I have the long wick Vivi and I roll mine to keep the juice mixed well as the juice tends to separate after sitting awhile. As for maintenance depending on the PG/ VG ratio and the darkness of the juice you'll have to occasionally wash the head in hot water. This will clean the wicks. If it's very dark juice you may have to dry burn the head. Let me search for a video.

When dry burning the head only activate the PV button for 3-4 secs. Let cool for 5- 10 secs. repeat this until the coils glow. Although the video doesn't show this I rinse the "ash" off the head after dry burning. I don't recommend washing it in the sink with the sink stopper open- too many small parts to lose. If you like the Stardust you can buy long wick heads and they'll fit perfectly. First though try it out for a bit and see how it goes IMO.

Am I right in thinking the short wick is going to mean I have to hold the PV horizontally to keep liquid on the wick?

By the way, I also have a Lab. He's a 12 year old Black Lab. His health is very good so far.
We lost our female Black Lab in Oct. 2011 at 14.5 years of age, which is a long life for the breed.

This is Lucy. I don't have a photo of the male (Tosha) with me.

Very cute Ang, and yeah that is long! Ours was a field lab, 85 - 90 lbs and from what I understand is the bigger they are the harder they fall.

Sorry but I was sure I had posted this or sent him a pm. You can request a Cdn Vendors List here although you'll find that Canvape has the lowest prices and the largest selection:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...c-supplier-list-via-pm-only-part-2-a-103.html
It's always a good idea to buy from an ECF listed/ verified company.
Without a pic of your Dad's cigar I "think" it uses RN4081. Just starting s search for blanks so he would have to fill his own. Or he could buy a RN4081 to 510 adapter and use 510 cartos OR a RN4081 to 808 adapter and use 808 cartos. But we need a pic.

You sure did Vapoor, and from the list the only one I could find that sells Volt (Kat sent me a link too) was Edmonton Ejuice or something but they were sold out, so to the states I went lol

I have been an IT geek for 20+ years. The first step to recovery is admitting it.

USB ports will only supply about 380mA. If the charger / battery requires more than that the USB port doesn't care, it's still only going to supply 380mA. The battery will still charge just slower.
There is no technical reason it would harm a USB port.
Some older USB ports don't have the charging circuits connected, the two outer pins. They are data only, the two centre pins.

I always use wall chargers anyway. They are usually 500mA and up.

Yup, USB is only so much. I run cranes for a living, cannot find a decent 24v adapter that doesn't melt itself from high input to very slow output to charge my cell. Whatever the problem, had to buy an invert er to compensate. Once I blew the computer in the crane, claimed ignorance lol.

I figure pleading temporary insanity due to quitting smoking should be enough to keep the courts tied up for years!

Hey Shane did you receive your order yet?

Negative, this is my update. Unfortunately will not be ordering from SI again. They are not bad, and I'm sure if you live in the US it's not so bad. They took more than 2 days to ship my order, they did apologize for being behind which is awesome, good CS. But, I will never use USPS for shipping again, which is all they offer. I paid extra for priority shipping, six days after SI sent it and still not here. I see from tracking it did clear Canadian Customs, but they are very slow. For example, I paid the same amount for priority shipping for a cell case from China and received in three days...... tracking updates are only updated every other day, simply says Canada with no other location data and I also signed up for email updates and have not received one yet. Maybe shouldn't say I won't order from SI again, their customer service is good, will just ask them if I can use Fedex next time.

Anyways, I am pooped from playing star wars for kinect with the kid all night lol I will try to respond more, I didn't know there was so many comments because I stopped receiving email updates, probably due to the fact I just "upgraded" from live to outlook. Gotta say I do like outlook better, way more user friendly and streamlined compared to live (Hotmail) but damn microsoft is going to make me change everything to my gmail account if they don't get all the glitches I've had fixed. Maybe this is why USPS isn't getting their updates through? I doubt it, but you never know.

Oh, so sorry it's taking so long. SI is a good company, I don't understand why this is happening. Most people are pleased with their CS. As for USPS tracking, forget it. It's not really tracking anything, it's more of a delivery confirmation. My last order was in Brooklyn N.Y. on Thursday night and in my mailbox on Friday morning.

So sorry but I've had the same issues with USPS. Poor tracking and packages generally take about 7- 10 biz days to get here. My last package from California- last update was it had been accepted in LA. Next thing is it's (surprise) in my mailbox. People up here complain about Canada Post but their tracking is great. As for Canada Customs they can be a pain. We all know the heartache of waiting for that package and it's no fun.
Most of my stuff comes from Canada unless there's a great deal elsewhere. I've also ordered from China- first time took 3 weeks but last order was here in 7 biz days. Basically with Canvape now offering quality gear at decent prices I rarely order from outside Canada unless it's a bulk order.
Edit: I guess that's why initially I posted a Cdn Vendor BUT I have a few friends/ converts that use the VOLT and they LOVE it so all I can say is be patient and you see why the Volt is so popular.

I think you are right. With any breed it seems the larger they are the shorter their life span.
Lucy was only 65 lbs. at her heaviest and about 55 in her last months.
Tosha, the male, is about 75 lbs.

Aww they are so cute playing together! Maggie was our first lab, and after her I will never own another breed.

Yeah Canada Post is light years ahead of USPS. All my juice for my blank cartos will be coming from Canada for sure! My pa also did some digging (referring to his situation), and ordered a Cohito unit from epuffer, which ends up having a warehouse in Canada so he is pretty happy now. Those scammers from the states he got his Libre Leon off of, well he found them under another company name and has ordered cartos for his, not even going to tell you what they dinged him for shipping :p Basically he is going to use it until it doesn't work and then be done with them.

HI there Shane and Welcome! I started my vapeing with blu because of the juice they use, but being a 3 pack a day smoker I soon change to ego twist and ViVi Nova and ViVi Mini nova and Im in love its my stable. I do have many other mods now VV's and so on. Every now and then I will fire up a simple CE2 Clearo on a 3.2 Battery just for the mild taste.
