Anyone having problems with the battery compartment not closing properly? If I have no battery in the indulgence it will screw together perfectly, but when a battery is inserted there is no way you can screw it all the way closed

Nope mine screws up nice and tight! I have been loving my new one all day today so far!!
It's awesome. Now what do i do with all these brand new 14500 batteries I bought for my nicostick?

Well the postman arrived with my replacement parts and I was happy again - but not for long. David said he would personally check my replacements before they were shipped so there is no excuse for this:

Replacement Cup:
Although slightly longer with a spring and screws into the switch piece properly this time, the engraving on mine is rough and sharp on the fingers.

Switch Piece:
My original switch piece was rough and bubbled around the switch, the replacement is the same. Also none of the 4 end pieces screw all the way into the switch leaving a 1mm gap

510 End:
510 atomiser will not screw all the way in and sticks out at an angle, this restricts the airflow and makes it unusable - just like the first one. This is the atomiser I use most of the time so again my indulgence is useless to me.

901/DPV9 End:
Although straighter than the first one the atomiser still sticks out at an angle and the centre pole is way too high, killing my 901 atomiser when I screwed it in. Also the air holes are still way too big to use with a cartomiser which also only screws on a half turn. I use cartomisers when out and about so my Indulgence is no good for this purpose either.

40X End:
Again this one has the atomiser sticking out at an angle but works ok, shame I don't like these much and only have 1 to try.

801 End:
Can't try this one as I don't have any of these.

Here's some pics folks so you can see what I mean. If you want anymore just ask.

If you want my advice folks I would stay away from this one, I am going back to my Silver Bullet.

Taroth, thanks for posting that.

That is ashamed and your right, there is no excuse for that. Although, I'm still waiting for my replacement, I am no longer anxious to get it. Not just because of your post, but for the simple fact that the one I received was DOA since the switch leg was absent. I since then have tried to open it up and replace the switch. I can't find a switch that size, it's fairly large.

I've been reluctant on trying to fix it with a Radioshack switch. If I were to do that, it would look no different than the radio shack flashlight mods I already have so it just sits in the box.

After seeing your post, I don't expect anything different now.

It's actually amazing that your Indulgence is in the condition that it is. What amazes me more is that this is East mall's product.

Not a resale of a standard brand that they are reselling. Therefore, quality control should have been really exceptional. Hell, it's their baby.

So the usual excuse of it being the manufacturers fault is unacceptable. There really should be more of a sense of liability for eastmall than ever before concerning these devices.

All that I can say is that I'm sorry for you. What can be done to sway your experience is all in David's hands.

For myself, I can't deny that I'm fairly bitter. I spent a large amount on this product, (Indulgence, cup, attys) and I waited almost 2 weeks for an unusable product and now probably 2 weeks or more for a replacement. Expecting a customer to wait a month or more for a working item is unacceptable in itself and they should be embarrassed. Still now even with a replacement coming in, I wish I had used my money elsewhere.

Like they say, "You get what you paid for." Sometimes, good deals are to good to be true. In this case, it applies severely.

Anyway, good luck and I hope things get resolved.
Tony

Improved version is back in stock, and the previous problems solved . the ones who has problems with the previous one, please send one email to sales@eastmall.net we will arrange the replacement as soon as possible.

Thank you all for your great patience. anything that we could do for you please email us at sales@eastmall.net:thumbs:

So the silver Indulgence in stock right now is the improved version?
I assume that the charger that is in stock may still have some quality issues... correct?
Please let me know as soon as possible as I have an order ready to push the button and not sure if I need to order the additional charger or find another source for that.

I want to order the Indulgence plus the extra cap and longer lasting batteries as well as some HV 510 attys for another setup I have.

Thanks

I was one of the first to receive an Indulgence just after Christmas, and i did encounter a couple of problems.. the cup did not quite close tight with the switch unit, and the 901 adaptor stopped working after a day or so,s use, plus there a few minor marks in the finish on the cup.

David and his colleagues were excellent! as soon as the revised version was available they arranged despatch ...and yesterday my replacements arrived - only 6 days transit! couldnt ask for more from a supplier.

Not only did they replace the faulty items, but shipped a complete unit and a full set of adaptors much to my surprise ( a very pleasant one i must add)

I managed to get my 901 adaptor working again after "tinkering" with it and have been happily vaping with both the 901 and 510 adaptors - the replacement adaptors are working brilliantly - and the quality of them is great.

I have to say that the Indulgence is a great mod, the vaping experience is very very good, the switch unit works perfectly every time, and the battery life is fantastic.

The battery charger and batteries work fine, ive had no problems whatsoever.

Admited the quality of the first one was not up to scratch, but the replacement unit is of an excellent quality. I have used both the small cup and the extended cup with the 18650 battery and i dont believe you will get better value for money anywhere.

I would also like to thank David ad his colleagues for the fantastic service they have given me in resolving the initial problems - i couldnt have asked for more.

Regards

Mike

One thing i forgot to mention in my last message is that i did have a problem with the 901 adaptor in as much as i managed to kill 4 brand new atomisers!! it does appear that there is an excesive amount of thread length on the adaptor -if you over tighten the atomiser it breaks the silicone seal around the atomisers centre connection ( i can only speak for TW atomisers as i dont have other types) i found out too late that you should only screw the atomiser on sufficient to make contact , dont overscrew it!

That was with the original adaptor, havent tried it with the new one - cant afford to lose a fifth new atomiser....

The 501, and 801 work fine

I still say this a great unit and extremely good value for money

Yes

some have said this, but most are finding it ok, it is a bit fiddly but it is ok, and works well when you get the battys in properly.

Please let me know as soon as possible as I have an order ready to push the button and not sure if I need to order the additional charger or find another source for that.

I use my universal charger for all my battys,
David tells me we need a special charger for ther 3V battys, but I got to tell you I use this charger for all of my battys and I have no probs at all

David is giving the correct advice here.
but is use this charger anyway, it is my own choice.

===============================================

well, Taroth,

I am sorry that we could not please you ---

I suggest that you return all the products that you received, and we will be happy to refund your money -

Di ...........:)

Di,

You make it sound like I am hard to please, I only wanted something that worked!

Can I ask if you have tried a 510 atomiser on yours and does it screw all the way in so the holes aren't half covered? Can you post a pic maybe?

Also with a cartomiser is it like sucking through a straw? (I tried 3 all the same)

Do you have bits of chrome flaking off that cut your fingers or end pieces that don't screw all the way into the switch?

If yours is ok then perhaps I was just unlucky, but TWICE and after the second one was supposed to have been checked

I see you also like your charger but mine doesn't work AT ALL. And like you my 3000mAH battery lasted a day, but all the 2400mAH batteries I have last 2 days!

I will definitely be happy to return it all for a refund - will I need to email Eastmall directly with all the details again?

Di,

You make it sound like I am hard to please, I only wanted something that worked!

I understand completely, I agree, you should have a product that works, and looks good too

Can I ask if you have tried a 510 atomiser on yours and does it screw all the way in so the holes aren't half covered? Can you post a pic maybe?

Yes, 510 -- on all of mine -- I have 3 of them --

the 510 thread connector cap is fractionally off set, not perfectly straight, not enough to even notice till you examine it really closely --
and most certainly not enough to be a problem to performance or visual presentation -- but I admit not perfect -------

Yes, the 510 atty screws all the way -- the holes are covered and the atty and the connector marry perfectly-- no gaps at all ----
the vape is perfect and the volume of smoke is great.

Also with a cartomiser is it like sucking through a straw? (I tried 3 all the same)

I smoke my pv's, for the past 3 months with DPV9 cartys, all the time--

I got 1000 of them so you can see why -- you can also get the idea that I rather like these cartys !!! hahahaa ----

yes the draw is easy, thats what we want from these cartys, they give us the feeling of easy draw as in a real tobacco cigarette draw --

I do not find it too easy -- in fact most peeps do like the easy draw for the above mentioned reason, -- just like a tobacco ciggy draw --

having said this -- the cons ------ some of them are toooo easy as you say -- some are very airy buggers !!!! hahahahahaha

and then you have the ones who are just ----
construction workers !!!!!! -- they whistle all the time !!!!

but on the whole --- I love these cartys and with Indulgence, I adore them ----------------

Do you have bits of chrome flaking off that cut your fingers or end pieces that don't screw all the way into the switch?

no I do not have these problems, on all 3 of mine ---
I have no chrome flaking off,
and my thread caps screw down nice and snug to the button section.

If yours is ok then perhaps I was just unlucky, but TWICE and after the second one was supposed to have been checked

what can I say Taroth --- sh ------- t happens, and yes it does happen twice, - obviously --:) I am sorry that it did -- :(

I see you also like your charger but mine doesn't work AT ALL.

whoa, there, I never said I liked this batty charger --- hahahahahahah

I said it works, after fiddling , swearing, and chucking it on the floor, and kicking it's *-.... around a bit -------

I never said I *** Liked it ****

I actually use my Trust Fire Universal TR -001 to charge everything batty that I have here------
it is not recommended for 3 volt battys -- but I do it anyway ----
*** I am not reccomending for you - any of you - to do this *****

And like you my 3000mAH battery lasted a day, but all the 2400mAH batteries I have last 2 days!

my 18650 battys last for days--
I said 24 hours for them - cos I just auto change them every morning as I get up,
I never bother to run them out -- friend of mine did this test and got 37 hours on one charge ---------

I will definitely be happy to return it all for a refund - will I need to email Eastmall directly with all the details again?

If you are still unable to make one good kit -- that makes you happy ----
from the two you have received,

then please PM me -------:)

I will get the return address for you -----

and I will PM you with instructions for the return and refund ------------

Taroth,

no, no, no,

I am not saying you are hard to please at all--

I am saying that we have failed to please you -- our fault -- not yours ------:)

I will continue to try to please you ------

untill I have a smile on your face either with a product you are happy with - or a return and full refund.
:)

Sorry Di, I was just very annoyed that my second one didn't work and you got the brunt of it.

I just need a 510 end and a 901 end that work properly. The cosmetics don't really matter and I have another charger and lots of batteries so no problems there and I don't use 801 or 40X so don't need those either.

If you can just sort me out with a 510 end and a 901 end that actually work I will be happy.
