And sorry I haven't rewicked my empty MT yet. I'll do that today, hopefully, and take pics. I get behind on things being sick.

No worries Roxy! Is swapping those o-rings a thing that everyone does? I'm going to do it anyway (whenever that might be) I was just wondering. Also, I keep meaning to document my failures with photos so you nice folks can maybe help me pinpoint where I'm going wrong.
But that's been difficult. Me being not the healthiest person in the world (yet another doc appointment today in fact) combined with a disabled mother and three yorkies (one of which is 14 years old, blind, missing most of his teeth, diabetic, and seemingly depressingly close to death) every goal of my own gets pushed aside.
But I'm not bitter. Nope....not me....
It was something I had read while I was waiting on my 2 mutanks to get here from vapenw. The only time either of them have leaked is if I cut my tails to short before tucking in. So far I've used shiseido, organic cotton balls, dental cotton rolls and cotton bacon and in them fwiw.
Hmmm.....Every time I give wicking this thing a shot now, I leave the tails real long, and poke as much rayon in the channels beside/behind/around the air....uhh....towers as I can. I try to keep the air holes free of overhanging wick too. Then I screw on the barrel, which usually disturbs the wick so I re-tuck by poking rayon into the wick holes. Then I trim the tails. Then I give the wick holes another check to make sure they are tightly packed.
Then I give the wick some e-liquid and test fire a few times, making sure I haven't disturbed the coil and that liquid is actually able to get to move through the mass of wick that's in there. Then I attach the tank, close up the air holes, fill, screw on the top cap, and open the airflow. At this point, were it any other tank, I would expect to get dry hits. Instead, liquid begins to *immediately* drip down into the base. It comes down from the outer wall, directly below the wick/coil assembly. I can immediately vape the pants off it, getting a great, fully saturated vape and huge clouds. But the whole time, the tank steadily draining.
Here ends the full account of the Failure of Zipflint.
Now back to your regularly scheduled shenanigans.
I don't have a Mutank so I'm not sure how the o rings work. I'm guessing the base for the prebuilt coil heads is different than the RBA deck?
Yeah, I'm dealing with my own medical issues. And I take care of several animals, some of whom are disabled and/or elderly. One of my parrots is blind and has other medical problems. My horse is half blind, and I used to have a horse who had no eyes (she actually lived to be 30).
For a while I was getting stuff from them quicker than I would get it from east coast vendors. Had me thinking they were paying off USPS somehow. I guess they stopped paying them off, haha.My new rx200, which I ordered Feb 1 was delayed by USPS. Usually I get orders in 2-3 days also, but that one took 5.
Let me/us know what you think of the Mutank stock coils if you try them. I didn't have good results with them.Well I ordered my Mutank on Monday, I just got a text saying it's in the Mailbox![]()
Try wetting the wick with juice before installing the barrel.Hmmm.....Every time I give wicking this thing a shot now, I leave the tails real long, and poke as much rayon in the channels beside/behind/around the air....uhh....towers as I can. Took one apart, here it is:

Can't say for sure what the issue is, it all looks fine in theory. Kept the cotton in tact because I was thinking about rewicking it, and figured it'd be a good point of reference.

Ya know Roxy when I tried it that way mine puked everywhere! LOL! Wicking is so personal with these tanks it's amazing! I'm the kinda guy that leaves his wicks long wets them tuck gently in juice channels install chimney trim wicks just a very little long & poke gently into juice channels! Of course other ways have worked also & the common thing with all of them seems to be to ensure wick fills the corners of the wick windows! It seems the only time I had problems was when I had gaps in corners, even tiny ones! @suprtrkr has taken this to the ultimate level with his beloved Rayon, which by the way I found a trial 10' bag at Sally's for $1.99 that I'm gonna buy!Ok, sorry they're blurry. And my wicking method is just totally simple anyway. First I just cut my tails to the bottoms of the channels.
Then I gently tuck them in, not smash them. I make sure I don't have any wick interfering with the threads for the chimney, then prime and put my tank together, and fill.

I tried it that way he first time i wicked one, and twice after you got me straightened out on wicking the Advken Ωega. Every time it flooded out the bottom faster than I could pour it in the topI know, I felt like what I do isn't even going to help anyoneThat's it though. I do the Ohmegas the same way.
