Cowtown, USA. Where the West begins.
That just reminded me,there was someone in the bottom feed forum that did make a sqounker from an rx200,and it actually looks pretty easy. They left out the 3rd battery and put the bottle there, then they swapped out the 510 and added the tubing.Looks like i need to grab another rx,by the way,777vape has a going out of business sale, and they have the rx200 for $25.
Seriously? How on earth did they make it work without 10+ volts?

Try some alien claptons! That's what's in my Griff right now!Dual 6 wraps 3.5 ID .3ohms coils stuffed with rayon narrowed just enough to fit the top of the juice channels! This thing rocks all the way to 200w where I burnt my tongue! LOL! For me 90w is my ADV!

P.S. If anyone is tired of hearing about this build, tough:censored:! It's my fave right now & I'm loving it!:headbang:

That's the same build I was running 200W with in Boreas

To me the Griffin gets too hot. Maybe that top airflow cap would fix it.

Boreas is exactly why I was looking for the SS or other TC Aliens! Huge build deck, huge juice cap., that baby just screams for Alien Claptons! :headbang:

I'm gonna have to look and see if my RDA and the Griffin can hold parallel Clapton wire in them.

I did just order a spool of fused 28g 32g SS 316l wire. I told the wife I lost my wire in the move and needed it. I only got a 15ft spool to see how I like it. If all is well I'll get as big of a spool of it as I can find so I won't have to buy any for quite a while.

The 4 wrap claptons I put in the troll pop like hell at 80 Watts. I had to lower it down to 70 watts. The vape is really cool wide open so I've got it 3/4 of the way closed off

I'd love to see a video of someone running a tank at 200 Watts. I'm sure I could do it in my RDA if I did dual fused Clapton coils

Remember I could only take 1 puff off the Griff at 200w & it burnt my tongue couldn't & wouldn't vape there!:headbang:

Haha. 200 Watts is a lot. I remember when the SMY 200 watt box came out. We had to build a monster coil that was capable of taking the wattage.

We didn't have a massive airflow RDA either so it was a very hot vape

Honestly I didn't think my Alien build would do it. Thought I was going to have to go to the big fused claptons or maybe get some 22g wire to make some. But, the Aliens pulled it off without an issue. I guess if it has the airflow and can keep up the wicking that's the important thing.

I'm running it at a measly 135W right now though :D Because dang, even with 3 batteries, they didn't hold out long at 200W. The rx started reducing the power little by little.

200 Watts will tank batteries fast, I know when I had the big claptons in my troll at 150 Watts the batteries didn't last long. That's why I made coils half the size and closed the airflow off 3/4 of the way and run it at 75-80 Watts to get good battery life again

To think not so long ago you started a tootle puffer thread & now you're talking more like one of those "more clouds bra" people! LOL!

Actually, it was the DNA200 they made a 133W squonker out of it. The RX board doesn't have any means to eliminate one battery but the DNA board does. Maybe someone has a workaround to do it, but we were discussing it at length in the Catfish Atty Mods thread.

I always had some dual coil attys, too. I like variety. I'm still running several single coil attys, but I need decent airflow now. That started happening last summer. I can't do the tight airflow anymore.

I'm sure it would be a easy work around if someone with programming knowledge got a hold of the right files.

If I tried to vape at 200 watts, I would hack my lungs out through my nose.
Same here! I felt like I sucked on a road flare when I tried 150W! I know when I do a mech and a fresh battery I'm vaping at around 85W, but it just doesn't seem to hit as strong as a regulated at 85W. Go figure!

20160313_153655-1.jpg 20160313_153201-1.jpg built two identical sets,1 set ka1 one set ni80 today. Core is 26g outer is 36g. Still prefer the ni80 over ka1 but with twisting the claptons together I'm finally getting better blue slushi flavor from the tanks. Only been able to hit 90w on the nicr cause its in her tank :-(. Im at 85w on the ka1 so far with no burnt hits too. May be worth a try for you guys too. I liked the fused in the mu but think I actually like the twisted claptons better.

Wow, that's a lot of metal to heat up. How's your ramp up time?
