View attachment 539041 View attachment 539045 built two identical sets,1 set ka1 one set ni80 today. Core is 26g outer is 36g. Still prefer the ni80 over ka1 but with twisting the claptons together I'm finally getting better blue slushi flavor from the tanks. Only been able to hit 90w on the nicr cause its in her tank :-(. Im at 85w on the ka1 so far with no burnt hits too. May be worth a try for you guys too. I liked the fused in the mu but think I actually like the twisted claptons better.
Do you have the velocity deck in the Mu? Cuz when I tried Aliens in my Mt only 4 wraps on a 3mm would fit & it just wasn't all that good! I know with a velocity style in the MT I would have more room & I was wondering if this is true with the Mu?:headbang:

Actually, it was the DNA200 they made a 133W squonker out of it. The RX board doesn't have any means to eliminate one battery but the DNA board does. Maybe someone has a workaround to do it, but we were discussing it at length in the Catfish Atty Mods thread.
Yeah, that was disappointing haha. After seeing this,i had to go dig through the bottom feed section and see.The one posted says rx200,but i missed where they said it was a dna 200,that sucks haha.

Wismec can kiss my .... Said they wouldn't warranty my rx200 because the tfv4 510 pin was too long and damaged the 510 on the rx200. Even tho the box doesn't say anything neither did the manual about the atomizer needing to be a certain length mm wise.

I'll only buy sigelei box mods in the future

Several weeks ago I contacted Wismec about making an rx200 squonker. They seemed very interested so maybe they will.
Hopefully they will follow through on it,that would make for a great mod.I think with Kanger releasing a sqouker now, that more of the big name companies will start to follow pretty soon.

Well, I'll give it a try in both a tank and an RDA, see what happens. I have about 125' of 316L 26g and 250' of 26g 304. The problem I have with those is trying to eliminate hot legs. If I can't get what I'm looking for, I'll just stick with my kanthal and Ni80.

The trick Ive found is you need to torch the wire first (with an actual torch) you want to get it red, but not glowing red red where it turns white when it cools. then after you install the coils turn your watts down to maybe like 25 or so depending upon the coils you made. slowly pulse them and increase watts by maybe 10-15 while pinching with the tweezers (I use ceramic tipped ones) until you get a nice even glow

I'll do that. I have a torch I haven't used in quite some time and a refill canister. I used to pre torch my kanthal, but resorted to using the mod to heat and squeeze the coils. Thanks!

stainless is a whole nother ball game. i actually prefer building with the ss over kanthal now. it just takes some time finding your niche for working with it. i actually starting wrapping my coils differently now. my new method involves electrical tape now hahahaha
