Have you tried the fused Clapton?
I haven't tried the fused Clapton from there yet. When I ordered the Clapton wire I didn't see the fused Clapton, I definitely would of bought the fused Clapton first tho.

I'm sure it's gonna be good wire, I've had no issues with the Clapton wire

My real question would be do you guys foresee any problems with a coil fitting within the chimney since the wire is bigger?

Idk, depends on the inner diameter and how many wraps you try to put in there. I have 7 wrap Clapton on a 3mm bit in mine and it was close.

That's cheap. Actually, I am in the process of building an automated clapton wire winder as a project. Working it with stepper motors an Ardurino boards.
That would be pretty cool. What is the cost of making your own Clapton wire per foot? I have no clue how much wire it takes but I'm sure it's a good bit for the outer wire
