Finally got around to trying out the mutank. Unfortunately I can't do any comparisons as I don't have the original MT tank. Built with 26g SS 3.2mm ID with a ton of room to spare. Didn't have any issues with the screws, they screwed in nice and tight without backing out or snapping the wire. Stuffed in a heap of cotton and its vaping great, bit of a whistle sound there with the airflow the way I like it but I'm running it with a restricted lung draw, open it up a bit and the sound goes away.

If your screws are stripping its because your not using your tools properly or your not using the proper tools. Even if your screwdriver is smaller by a tad or bigger it will strip. Also you have to mak sure you insert the screwdriver all the way into the slots and not at an angle of any sort. Ive been using power tools since grade 9 and ive learned my lesson with too many screws stripping. I hope this helps.

OK, as a preface, I don't have the proper tools for coil wrapping but I made it happen . Dual claptons 6 wraps on a screwdriver Came Out To .4 and is vaping like a CHAMP .

Nah, usually don't bother with TC, I just end up turning up the temp till it feels the same as without it.

Ya know my sub-tank mini rocks the temp control but this one ROCKS with Kanthal! Just put a dual 9wrap 3mm id 24g .35 OHM build in my beauty & I don't think I'm going back to TC with this tank! Too much airflow with this baby for nickel!
