I tried a bunch of juice at the local Vape shop today and man some of that stuff barely had any flavor and was $22 for a 30ml bottle.

I could identify so many of the juices and made one soon as I got home. It was vanillin blueberry extra and pomegranate

It just amazes me what they get away charging for juice at these stores. Like that's a $.60 bottle of juice for $22 plus tax.

This was at the same Vape shop that I got to hold the rx200 that was priced at $100 and the batteries were $15 a piece too. Just reminded me why I buy my .... online and make my own juice

Got a couple questions guys. This will be my first temp control mod and I'd like to try that out. I Vape at high wattages on kanthal with big coils, Clapton and dual twisted coils. I'm talking 100-125 watts all day long.

Can I get a link to a all in one sort of thing for temp control that has a lot of good info in one place so I can learn about it?

What wire and builds would get me close to what I currently do? I'm talking big clouds and hopefully better flavor.

Where do you normally buy your wire for your temp control coils?

How does your battery life compare to using kanthal and wattage mode?

I'd like to try it out first in my troll rda and if I like it then I'll give it a go in my MX rta. I'm super pumped about getting this rx200 and I'd like to give temp control a good honest try to see if I like it since this will be my first temp control mod.

Thanks in advance everyone

I don't have a link handy, or all that much experience either. Frankly, I wasn't all that impressed with TC, and didn't stick with it long. For builds, I'd say stick with the usual double super extra Clapton zipper left handed monkey coils. What makes vapor is coil surface area in contact with soaked wick. The more of that you get, the more vapor it makes, provided you have the power to fire it. I have 2 TC mods, an SX Mini M and a Snow Wolf. Both of them derate watts in TC mode. My SW, for example, won't let you use more than 75 watts in TC mode, for all it will do 150 straight and 200 pulsed. That might not be a handicap, because the mod pulses the power to maintain wire temp. It will use all it has, up to the watt limit you set, to get the wire to temp, then it backs off to hold it. My suggestion, with massive coils, is to put the watts up high to heat them quickly, and set the temp as hot as you can stand, or where your juice starts burning, whichever is lower. That's all your going to get from it in TC mode. For wire, I usually get it at lightning vapes. Finally, bear in mind I have only ever used Ni200. Ti or SS might be different. People are raving about SS, maybe it works better.

I can't tell if you're kidding about the name but I'm lol anyway.

I prefer Zakk Wylde coils. They're beefier, saltier and have teeth dents for more surface area :headbang:

They're much spittier though...

Riddle me this, MT gurus...Still trying to NOT put this tank in the "nice idea but not working out" bin. I was having wicking troubles that were mostly related to not having the coil centered I believe. Now the coil is centered and I wick it like the pics on page 41. It doesn't leak or seep. Fills fine. The first tankful is bliss....Awesome flavor, performance, and wicking. Bubbles on every draw and random bubbles when sitting. Soon after the 1st refill it is a complete vacuum lock situation. I cannot get any wicking whatsoever. No bubbles even when mostly closing the airflow and drawing hard. The only way I can get any wicking is to open the top cap which will cause a few bubbles and I can take a couple of hits. I even let it set overnight last night with the tank full and to cap completely off and AFC open. No leaks this morning. I have tried more cotton, less cotton, same thing.

Any ideas...About ready for it to hit its grave!

That has never happened to me. Are you wicking cotton?

I am top filling...closing the AFC and filling from the top. Then open the AFC. I just put about 1/3 less cotton in that I usually do. Will see how that works. (I am using KGD Cotton. Tried Rayon but pretty much the same thing and I prefer cotton.)

Cotton swells when wet, unlike rayon. It is possible it's choking itself after it sits. Just a thought...

You've got to be choking the coil with too much cotton. You say it doesn't leak at all so its making me think your using way too much.

Can you post pictures of it so we can try to help you figure this out? I use cotton pads in mine as well and I've choked the coil. It didn't leak on me but it sure as hell didn't wick either lol.

I wick mine to the point that it will leak slightly, very slightly but it wicks like crazy because I'm using mine at 100-120 watts and if I wick it to tight it won't keep up

Hello all I'm back!
Got my Alien Claptons from 101vape yesterday!
Alien Clapton Wire Shots by Rofvape
Doesn't look like alien clapton to me because there are no waves in the wrap! It's more of a ribbon clapton! 32g Kanthal wrapped around .8x.3 ribbon Kanthal. But I've never run any claptons before so I gave these a try! Built a 5wrap 2.5 ID dual coil at .15 OHMs on my MT (sorry no pics) and OMG the flavor & clouds! I'm gonna have to cut back on my flavor % because of how much flavor these coils are chucking at 60w! Vaped them as high as 100w but found that was too much heat for me! Would I buy this wire again? Heck yah! Remember folks I'm only comparing this to normal Kanthal & Nickel builds!
Speaking of Nickel builds; @Bman123 I have found that nickel builds on my MT are less than satisfying! Even at 600 deg. they seem cool because of the awesome airflow on the MT! For me Nickel shines on my Subtank mini because of the smaller deck and tighter draw! I haven't tried Ti or SS so I can't speak to those!
This tank on my RX with this build is the shiznet yo! :headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll:
