Hey Bella, They work awesome in single coil mode! The coil mounting issue was just because I have never used this style of build deck before. The MT comes with a little plastic plug to put into the juice channel on the unused side. The only "mod" that you need in addition for single coil is to wad up a little piece of cotton and stick it into the unused air hole on the inside. The only reason to do this is so that chamber condensation doesn't come out and sticky bottom syndrome ensues.

(The pics I have seen of the MuTank have this fixed...The plastic plug also plugs the unused airhole. No idea if new batch MTs will have it or not. Easy enough to fix.)

Weird thing is 3 of my favorite single coil tanks are primarily for dual coil usage. (Goliath V2, MT, and Bellus.) Nice to have all the options we do nowadays. At least for the time being!

That sounds awesome Jack! Very awesome that it comes with a plug and it's not at all difficult to do the single coil! Might just have to order me one when I get paid and see how I like it. I've got these other 3 RTA's enroute to me as well so this aughta be fun

I'm so excited to try my new kooper plus with the mt-rta! And it looks sexy AF. What build should I do for it now that I can go above 50w on my old sigelei 50. I have 26/32 Clapton, 26g and 24g kanthal. Haven't got any TC wire yet...

They're at 4.14 currently. Is it safe to take them off and start using them or do I need to wait

I recommend allowing new batteries to fully charge. You'll probably get away with it if you do. But I wouldn't.

Then let me suggest dual parallel 24s, 6/5 wrap, 3mm mandrel, for .25 ohms. Then crank it up :)

I haven't done a parallel in quite some time, let's be frank, I haven't built anything for a while, regardless suprtrkr, u grabbed my interest, iam gonna do dual parallel 26's since I don't think I have any 24 laying around when I do my next build
