oh, no doubt they make good chargers. I own one myself, bought before I understood what they are. It's bad enough they over rate their batteries. This does endanger poorly informed vapers who believe their advertising, but that's at least half operator error. "Poorly informed" I said, and exactly that I meant; further, with the vast resources of this board available for free, this can not be blamed on Efest insofar as this lack of knowledge is contributory to safety compromise. Additionally, while their ratings are obviously bovine excretum, there usually is a moderately decent 20A battery hiding under all that advertising hype. For me, all that's a wash; indeed at least partly my fault by concatenation, as I spend a good part of every day preaching battery safety, yet accidents still happen.
That said, what I find intolerable about Efest is they way is the way they have treated @Mooch for daring to honestly evaluate their batteries under lab conditions and publish the results, for no other reason (apparently) than these results give the lie to their over inflated advertising claims. Mooch is a fully qualified EE with years of experience in battery power packs, and he busts his ....-- free of charge-- to make solid safety info available to vapers. The fact Efest doesn't like this is not material to me. Therefore I will neither buy nor recommend their products. Honesty compels me to admit I wish I had bought a blu6 before they got shirty with Mooch. It's a very nice charger and I wish I had one. But I didn't; and now I won't.
