Got impatient waiting for the Avocado and ordered a KM3 over the weekend during Vaporshark's valentines day sale, that just got marked shipped this morning. Wonder which one will show up first now, still no movement on the Avocado's tracking number.

Yeah, KM3, or Kayfun Mini 3, or Kayfun Mini v3. Gonna be weird getting used to the airflow on that one, that's my only concern with it, might not be for me anymore.

I love mine! Better airflow (which is fully adjustable) and better flavor in my opinion than the Kayfun v4.

Really? If it's better than the KF4, perhaps I should try it. I put the subohm kit in mine, which includes a bigger air channel in the center bolt, but it was still too tight for me. Ach, what am I saying? I have MTs out the wazoo, what do I need a Kayfun?

Cool, I am looking forward to trying it.

At some point over the last year, maybe longer, I started using higher airflow dual coil RTAs, so being used to that open draw, not sure going back to a MTL device is the wisest choice by me, but we'll see if I can't get used to it again.

I actually prefer having both types of devices in my arsenal, and vape them when the mood strikes.

In my opinion, the airflow of the KFMv3 is such that you can do a slow, somewhat restricted, lung inhale. In fact, it's perfect for a relaxing vape for me. I put some of my 6mg juice in it, sit back to a good book / movie, and puff away. Flavor is amazing, and the nice slow, even draws are very soothing. To me, it's a very different style of vaping, and one that I enjoy.

I can't do the tight ones anymore. I've sold off almost all of my high end attys. I can still do my Lemos, opened up. I'm still using my Hurricane clone. And can do the Taifun GS2 with top and bottom air open, but that's about it. I even sold my Erlk a couple weeks ago. And I did have the larger positive pole in it. Some of these have been replaced with Serpents. Have a Bachelor now, too, and would like 1-2 more.

Thank you Roxy and suprtrkr! for the kind words on my build. I appreciate that very much! I don't get any input or get to "talk shop" with anyone in meatspace, except for when I go to the ONE vape shop (out of about 4-5 that I know of) that I really like. :)

I like the airflow I've got right now, wide open is, well, wide open, but I usually keep it about 1/2 way closed. I like to feel a little resistance. However, if by "BETTER airflow," you mean moar flavoar, I'll definitely do that!

Very nice! Might get a skosh better airflow if you raise those coils about half a millimeter.

I fell for the Kabuki/BVC hype.
It's like going back to a single speed bicycle after getting used to a good 18 speed Mt. Bike.

I could get long-winded about the technical explanation, but the bottom line is reduction of turbulent interference where the air intake column impacts the bottom of the coil increases the efficiency and repeatability of the air flow control system, due to boundary layer turbulence issues, the math of which would make Einstein stagger across the room for an Advil. If you were shooting for maximum cloud, I would say definitely raise it. However, for a person who just wants great flavor in a good vape, or one who usually closes the air part way anyway, the question of a few points three decimals out is not important. If you like what you got, I say roll with it :)

Edit: I also have to say I have never seen a V-deck build duals like that with one coil in the bottom holes and the other in the top. I have always used the high/low hole arrangement to catch the upper and lower leg of the coil because, of course, it is exactly reversed on the other side of the posts. I will further add, if big flavor is where you want to be, and you're not vaping super-high watts where you need massive juice flow, you might try verticals with a horseshoe wick, if the wick will fit in the barrel without blocking the chimney.
