Infinity ready to die?

ok first I was having issues with fully charged batteries not working, then all of a sudden they would work, now when I put fresh batteries in without my tank attached the blue light goes on without the button being pushed and only when a load get put on it ie the tank and and cart does it go out.

Also without a load and the light being on I put the meter on it and it just flashed lines. Is my infinity getting ready to die???? How far out is the Pro? so I can order and keep my original as a backup??? Don't want to go without lol... Can I beta test?????? hint hint !!!! :facepalm:

Do a good check of your connector. Make sure the rubber ring is intact and that the center post isnt too far in. You may also want to consider a good alcohol bath. Theres a post around here about it. Worse case send it to mike since its still under warranty. The infinity pro is about 4-6 weeks out.

It's drawing too much juice somewhere. I would do an alcohol bath on it if I were you. I get that same problem when I get juice in the end or with LR cartos and attys. When it's juice in the end I don't see it but when I blow it out with canned air it was juice come out of it from somewhere in there.

ok not to sound too stupid but emerse the whole top in alcohol and blowit out real well yes?

Yes but make sure it is completely dry before putting it back together and using it. Some people swish it around inside the Buzz too but you have to make very sure it is dry before using it. There is a thread here I will find it for you

Trust me you are not an idiot lol I would not have known how to give a mod a bath either without directions. Many people would not

Many Thanks guys giving it a bath seems to have worked!!!! Now I can spend my 4th drinking and playing with explosives while vaping on my restored Infinity W00t!!!

YEE HAW I'm very happy that it worked. The pro series are completely sealed so that shouldn't be a problem any more. It's from the conductivity the juice seems to have picked up lately. I think somewhere along the line the juice could be getting water added to it. It's happening with everyones juice.

Well I seem to have spoken too soon

It worked for about an hour then it then it started going out after less then a second I but a meter on it and it seems that without a load it was fine but as soon as I put the cart back on it would go off after 1/2 a second and now it's completely dead DAMN!!!!!! Guess I'm going to have to PM Mike and send it back.

Sorry I left out the the carts, They are Royal Smokers 510 CE2 XL 3.0 - 3.2 ohm and the others are Vaporizers 510 CE2 XL 2.8 - 3.0 ohm and I use them in a MAP Tank. I checked the center ring around the pin and it doesn't look broken or damaged in any way. So I'm going to RMA it back ok?

Id say your going to have to Send it to Mike LA. Those carts should work fine. Bath didnt help. No visible defects. Gotta be something deeper.
