Thanks Peaches. That settled that question! Are you trying to make a hole in the mouthpiece to inject through? I thought EDO meant he was inserting the needle through the hole in the mouthpiece you draw through, and making a hole in the cart. Either way, it's no problem pulling the mouthpiece off. I think I'm also going to just inject into the cart for refilling to slow the clogging, etc., and when they go just toss 'em. Thanks for the help
Thanks for the advice EDO. I drilled out the holes in one of my batts (1/16th inch bit) and aligned the trenches as you suggested but that didn't help. Then I put on a fresh cart and was amazed at how easy the draw was. The atty had slowly gotten clogged and I just didn't realize it. Duh.
The good thing is that with the larger holes the GC carts now work much better. Before I could barely screw the cart on enough to make good battery contact and got a lot of noise. Now I can adjust 'em just right and they're nice and smooth. Appreciate the help!
Side note: On the cart I took apart before ever using, it looked like the mystery hair wick was bent about 45° to center it in the tube. Now when I look in the ones I've pulled the carts out of the wick is completely against the side. Doesn't look like it would work as well over there, so I'm not going to pull them out anymore, just inject and see how it goes. Easier anyway.
