I've never used the cool fire 1 but I looked at the specs at it goes to 8.5 watts and as low of resistance of coil you can used is 2.0. (I believe that's what the specs say) that said, I think there are Much better devices available. A Great device for beginners is the MVP2.it's a good solid device and has variable volts and watts. It provides a great vape. And won't disapoint. Take a look on google and see what you think.

I have a Cool Fire 1. It was my first mod and I still use it every day in rotation with my VTR box mods. Very well made and inexpensive, in 18350 mode it is light and pocketable. With both 510 and ego threads you can use just about any atomiser with it, so I'd say go ahead. Inevitably, you'll soon want an adjustable mod, but your Cool Fire 1 will be a reliable long-term friend.

I bought one of those when they first came out. I used it for about 6 months, then sold it to a friend of mine and he's still using it. I never had any problems with it, and I probably dropped it a hundred times. Lack of variable wattage and the fact it is only 18350 were the only drawbacks for me, and why I sold mine. It took me about 3 or 4 batteries to get through a shift of work.

Mine came with an 18650 tube as well.

It is a fine mod and I have one. It is real simple, kind of like a big ego with a replaceable battery, Put a battery in and press the button, when it turns red replace the battery and continue.

If you already have the battery and charger it is not too expensive but if you are also getting the batteries, get at least 2 so you can vape one while the other charges, and charger, don't skimp here cause you are going to have and use it for quite a while, the MVP is a cheaper alternative.

The CF1 is also not variable anything. The cool fire 2, the grenade looking one, is variable and so is the MVP if you don't mind square.

The bottom line for me is that it is acceptable but there are other choices I would make now.

I think it looks like a grenade.........I like innokin products........would never buy this :vapor:

I think you are thinking of the coolfire 2, the CF1 is just a tube type.

Innokin is a great company, but limiting the CF1 to just one output, 8.5 watts doesn't make any sense to me. I'd go for an MVP instead.

You might be thinking of the Cool Fire II, which is a piece of junk. My friend bought one about 8 months ago from a local shop. The first one lasted about 3 months then the power button got stuck in the on position and the 10-second cutoff didn't kick in. Had to remove the battery. The shop said since he was a regular customer they'd replace it up to 3 times. He got home with the first replacement and discovered that the wattage adjustment wheel was stuck right out of the box. Went back and got another, that one lasted about 2 months before the power button stopped working. The next replacement made it about 2-3 months before it started randomly turning itself off when he took 2-3 vapes within the space of a couple minutes. Shop said they were going to stop carrying them and couldn't replace it anymore. So he got and MVP 2.0 after trying mine. He likes it more, and much better battery life than the batteries the Cool Fire I and II use.

So recently put up I was looking for a strong cigarette like ecig been looking into a bit more and found the Innokin Cool Fire 1 is it any good has anyone used one ?

I wouldn't buy one myself. As they are set to 8.5 watts, you won't get good results with "off-the-shelf" single coil atomizers from Kanger (too high power). The dual coils will be better (and not burn) but 8.5 is actually too low for the best ones.
A mini Nautilus with BVC coils might be quite a good match.
So, some hope... but then the plan falls apart with the 18350 battery.
Overall, a dog's dinner i.m.o.

get an MVP. :)

See my problem is I haven't a clue about wattage ohm and all the other stuff lol I'm kinda person fill and press a button ? I don't really like the big box ones tbh want something that I enjoy using and looking at ?
Any other devices that won't break the bank ?

Maybe a straightforward Spinner II, EMOW or Evod twist.
