I have a one month old Coolfire TC 100 and have been using it in SS mode since I got it. Problem is that no matter what wattage or temp I use it at it will burn the cotton when it runs out of liquid instead of regulating. I have complained to Smokstore.us where I bought it from and they have no clue. I also sent it innokin for service and they sent it back to me in the same condition. Anybody else have this problem?

sorry to hear your issues! surprising for inokin! guess I won't be getting one now ;)

I sent mine to innokin Warranty Service and the sent it back exactly the same. I'm trying to work with customer service now to see if they can do anything but I'm totally disgusted with them so far.

What is the ramp up wattage set at? I typically Vape at 20w when in power mode. When using TC I had the ramp up set to 75w, and that caused similar issues on those builds. When I turned the ramp down to 25w the problem went away.

I turned it down to 25 ramp up but the vape is really weak even at 500 degrees. Cool and weak...

That stinks. Especially as Innokin is usually reliable and responsive. I'd keep after them, and as it doesn't appear repairable, insist (see if they will) on a replacement. I have a CF4 18650 and no issues with TC on it.

Innokin sent me a mailing label to return my mod today. Hopefully they'll replace it with a working one.

Had an issue on my Presa 100 TC in SS temp mode. It kept kicking out of tc to wattage when using my RTA with UD SS wire coil.

So put on my Crown with a SS factory coil and it works as it should, never kicks out of TC.

Can you try a different type SS coil?
I realize it "should" work regardless, but it may be a workaround for you if you get no resolution or the new device is no better.

I simply use the Crown on my Presa and my RTA on another device. ymmv, Cheers.

I only use my own coils, never factory built coils. I can take any of my drippers with stainless steel coils off of the Cool Fire and put them on any of my other temp control devices and they will work. I've been using it as a regular wattage device but Innokin sent me a mailing lablel to send it back again today. So I'll update when I get it back or they send me a new one.
