I've had the 20 watt about 6 weeks now and am loving it. I can honestly thank the istick for opening my eyes to the box mods. Tried one out at my B&M and they wanted 50 bucks for it. When I saw the MVP 20 watt for 30 bucks online I jumped all over it. It's my first mod and I got an RDA for it last week. Now I gotta start DIY'ING juice cuz' I'm going through it like crazy. I've seen the 30 watt coming down in price a little bit recently. When it reaches my threshold I'm gonna jump all over one of those too. Don't care how many watts all the other boxes can put out I'm an Mvp fan for life.

Innokin concentrated on improving on what many already considered one of the best vapes you can get from any device and imo they did . They are not getting caught up in the wattage game because they know very well most (even those who have high wattage devices) don't vape anywhere close to those wattages.

I get my best vapes on everything using 20 watts and under and that includes all RDA's as well . Outstanding flavor , vapor , everything really .

I have experimented a ton with different builds , wire gauges, super low ohm's, higher ohm's etc.. and i'm convinced lower wattage vaping rules, at least for me.

Just a much more flavorful satisfying vape , and i don't have to worry about the negative health consequences of high temp vaping either , a win win all around for me.

I'd love it if Innokin updated the VTR to 20 or even 30 watts and made it possible to use up to a 24mm tank. While I'm using the Erlk at 15 watts on it that's with a 2.3 ohm coil. I'd love to be able to put a Fogger/Kayfun or whatever on it and, since they're dual coil and high air flow, they do need a little more than 15 watts to give a really good vape to me.

All I can find is: "High compatibility 510/ego connector:
Threads are compatible with the following clearomizers: iClear16, iClear16B, iClear16D, iClear30, iClear30B, iClear30s, iClearX.I. Gladius and other standard 510 threading.
    "

    Is the 510 connector spring-loaded and/or adjustable???

Spring loaded, as shown in PB review video at 4:40 in - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWE4P1tMUFA&feature=share

I've said it before, I think the VTR is not far away from being similar to the Joye eGrip

some 'tweakin' and it could be a MODERN unique stand out device

IMHO, the VTR IS a unique and standout device. When it was released, almost two years ago, other than squonkers, there was nothing else to compare to it in terms of design and functionality. Innokin did a great job, other than that stupid rotating connector, with it. They did get smart and replace that rotating POS with a fixed connector in the second run. The quality of Innokin devices is pretty good as well. I also have a Cool Fire II and a 134, again from the first releases and they, too are excellent devise. The power limits they have kind of reflect what the technology was at the time. So, come on Innokin, get thy ship together and update these outstanding devices with newer technology that can accommodate todays RBA/RTAs.

Not only that but one of the most rugged mods every built!

I could care less about higher wattage, but I sure would love it if they'd modify the VTR to take at least 22mm tanks. Once I got a Kayfun, I had to take VTR off my wishlist, even though it would be a natural for a klutz like me. :D Dropping things is almost a hobby of mine. :D

But since Kayfun is my vape of choice, I'm interested in a Kato clone. Mech, but a Kick would fix that. :D

Kat are you using the watt setting on both the SVD and Zmax?
I go back and forth. I've always seemed to prefer the voltage setting as opposed to watts but since I can't change volts on svd2, that might actually be exactly what was going on! [emoji106]to u for thinking of that! The harshness has gotten better now that I've had more time with the svd2 to learn it & change out coils & batteries. I'm using it now as my go to mod so wheather I've just gotten used to it or unknowingly fixed the issue, I'm another satisfied innokin customer [emoji16] [emoji106]

    Glad for you.

I kind of keep up with the i50 thread since it is an interesting mod with a lot of mah. Reading of fire switch problems. I will repeat what I have stated before, my Innokin products have never given me a mis-fire or changed settings on me. Yes we have had problems with the 510 connector and failure of the usb charger. Kudos to Innokin for improving products and keeping them affordable.

my biggest complain about Innokin products is that they are so reliable its almost boring.......
