Here's my Take on things to come:

Innokin will introduce a new connection between mod an atty. TC and all that.

It will no longer work with 510.

Hardcore Vapers will laugh, say: you cant get rid of 510!!! We have thousands of dollars invested in this. It will never WORK!!!

Innokin sells 1000000 units to Vapers that dont care or know what a 510 is. Or what kind of battery it uses as long as it works.

Evolv and Yihi start modifying their boards to work with the Innokin connector.

Aspire, Kanger and others follow suit.

Hardcore Vapers will still have their boutique tanks and Mods in 510 available because "It still is the best!!"

Rest of the world moves on.

Sitting down, facing forward.
That scenario is probably not all that far off. The key will be whether or not the connector design is duplicated by Kanger, Aspire and so on. Copyrights just don't seem to apply very much in the vaping world. I would welcome a better connector than the current crop.

Efun is having a pre-order on the Disrupter for $65. I have never ordered from them so have no idea if they are a good site or not.

Innokin Disrupter - $65.00

Unless you absolutely need a removable battery the CF4 is a much better value, same battery (only internal)...half the price.

I think we all would...

And there will probably also be an after market of adapters.

I don't think an adapter would be completely functional. There would still be no way to get the extra connection(s) into an older mod/battery. Maybe an adapter to adapt older tanks to the new connector would be handy though, but that assumes the new device would work without the extra sensors or whatever being connected (safety).

I was JUST thinking that -- right after it becomes a de facto standard, suddenly in the Accessories catalogs will be adapters, just like the ones now for 510/Ego.

Adapters would only work in V/W mode, not in TC.

Innokins TC will probably use 3 connectors vs. The 510 2 Connector.

Will Provape sell enough P3s to justify making toppers with the P3 connection? I see stuff for the Kabuki but no others.

It will be hard to reach a new standard connector. It's a shame since the 510 is far from the best.

Hi all,

Just got back from a week in Cancun. I took my CF-IV, MVP3 60W, two Kanger sub tanks, and a bunch of juice. Had a great time and spent the week hanging out with my wife celebrating our 25th anniversary.

I had no issues going through customs either way with my gear, I was a little worried since import for sale into Mexico is illegal, but got the green light going in so no baggage check. Carried my mods in my backpack with my DSLR and not a peep from the TSA. Carried one bottle of juice with my liquids and the rest was packed in a checked bag. Vaped my brains out at the hotel and beyond and only got a few odd looks.

We went to Chichen Itza and I carried the MVP since it was an all day trip, here is a photo of me in front of the main pyramid, you can see the MVP 3 outline in my cargo pocket. It got heavy but lasted all day no problem, and that is what I purchased it for.

If the MVP 3.0 is a LiPO pack, these guys have, shall we say, questionable intelligence?

I have to agree about that being dangerous. This was a YT torture test though, they are always over the top. I was just watching a tv show that had a YT video of a guy smashing a battery and having it blow up in his face. His had been lit on fire first so these guys were somewhat safer. If it took all that abuse and kept on going then my small bouts of clumsiness won't even phase it! I'm more worried about busting a tank or having the 510 connector snap off. It really is a solid piece of kit though, my mom and dad have taken to calling it "The Brick".
