Hello all. Very interesting discussion on all things Innokin you have here. I have a question that perhaps you all can chime in on.

I am currently using an iStick 30 with the iSub tank. I have been running this setup for about 2 months now and am happy with it so far. I am pretty new to the vaping scene (started in December 2014) after a few misses and misguided buys, that is where I landed.

I am considering upgrading my mod. The first Innokin product I got was the iSub tank (and I love the thing!) so I thought about getting an Innokin mod. I love my iStick 30, but feel like I have outgrown it. I was going to get the iStick 50, but after reading some of the reviews, I felt that Innokin would be a better way to go, so the question is, should i get the Coolfire IV or the MVP 3?

The MVP 3 would give you a good upgrade in battery life; I would say that the CF's 2000 mAh and the iStick's 2200 mAh are about neck-and-neck in terms of real battery life. If the battery life of the iStick30 is fine for you, then the CF IV costs a LOT less than the MVP3, and I think it's a bit smaller too.

I'd really love one of those MVP3s, but still too costly for me.

Thank you Andria. Budget is a concerning factor, but also getting more bang for my buck. Price difference between the two on MVS is about 18 dollars... do you think it's worth paying that extra money?

If you don't mind the size the MVP 3 is probably a better fit for you, maybe even the 3 60w if you want to go for a serious upgrade. If the size of the Istickmybuttonsandburnup 50 doesn't bother you then you should be fine with the size of the 3. In my humble, the innokins are much better made product

One reviewer (Phill?) said they have the identical battery just labeled differently.

Not so much, and this should seal the deal for you V1- From the MVP thread:

iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro 60W Express Kit $54.99

Latest $10 off coupon code VTRz7Zws5k bringing it to $44.99

I wouldn't, but that's just me (tightwad!). :D But for the much-greater battery life, it's probably worth it.

I can believe it -- with my style of vaping, both of them last me all day -- MUCH better than what I get from the 2000mAh and 2250mAh IMRs I have.

I ordered my second MVP 60w, this time the full kit with the iSub G. I got it from E Cigarette | Buy Electronic Cigarettes Online | E Juice - Mt Baker Vapor they have a good rep here and the kit with the 11% discount (beefcake11) was only $65.96! I paid extra for the shipping, which would have been free but I wanted it faster so I paid $6.25 to get it quicker. The total with shipping was only $71.21! MVS would have got my money but they were sold out. Plus I got a free bottle of caramel apple e juice, a big plus!

I keep mine with me but I leave it in the car when I go into stores. At work it sits on the top of my bench with a homemade drip tip cover so brake dust or anything else doesn't get in there. Still, I carry it in my pocket sometimes but I'm not some skinny jeans wearing hipster trying to grow my first beard;) I have EDC items (flashlight, pocket knife, keys, etc.) so I wear cargo pants and shorts 99% of the time. The MVP 60w sits in the right side thigh pocket and doesn't bother me at all. Even in the few pairs of jeans I have it isn't really a problem.

I could see how wearing a pair of berry crushers might not work with the MVP 60w. If that's your thing then you would probably be better off with the CFIV.

Try not to leave any LIPO device in a car too long.

Eric
I'm talking grocery store for 20 minutes or corner store for 2 or 3 picking up something to drink. I always keep them out of the sun, but when I drive it sits in the center cup holder just like my fire sticks would. That's with the AC on though so I'm pretty sure it won't hurt anything. I won't leave anything battery powered in my car for longer than 20 or 30 minutes, even my gps gets removed before I go inside at the end of a trip.

Utopia
another thing I got my eye on is that eGo One Mega Tank
add the “CLR” coil and it looks like a spiffy set up
I’m thinking the ego One (mega & mini for wife)
and a eGo One Mega Tank on a MVP PRO (for me)
and a pack or two of CLR coils...

curse the little blue screwdrivers…

Vape≈Simple

when, When will Innokin release more coil options for the iSub tank ?????

CLR coils?

Yeah, that long could well.... half or quarter sec might be ok...

Seems like I also heard Phil wasn't too thrilled with its TC mode? (Something like that, dang CRS!)

CRS coils? (for the older crowd?)

I never leave my mods in the truck, simply because I don't want them stolen -- it's one thing to replace a $5 pk of smokes; quite another to replace a $30 mod and $30 tank.

They go WITH ME no matter what.
